Red Bull Racing Jerez Day 2 - Webber Fastest!

Red Bull Racing's team report from the second official day of the Jerez tests that saw Mark Webber top the timesheets by over 4 tenths of a second. It’s all well and good heading for Southern Spain to get the warmest of the European winter weather, but with Jerez de la Frontera located on the breezy Atlantic coast, strong winds are an ever present threat.

Yet again today, gusty conditions meant that it was difficult to draw any meaningful results on the aerodynamic and balance front. All the same, Mark had a good day exploring the performance potential of the new car, leading to an encouraging fastest time of the day.

The Australian had a few unscheduled stops, but David got through all his programme. Both men are back on track tomorrow for the final day of the test.

I think tomorrow alot more teams will start to do qually testing. After this test there's just Barcelona then off to Melbourne (correct me if i'm wrong).

They will use this last day of testing at Jerez for qually tests so if there are any problem they will get some time to work on it before Barcelona.

And for the same theory, I hope RBR bring out the new aero kit to test for Melbourne.

Yeah ck11, but thats nothing compared to last year!

RBR is looking a lot more reliable than last year!

Encouraging, regardless of fuel level, because even on low fuel with high winds it's impressive. GO WEBBER AND RED BULL RACING grinning smiley
