Jaguar solves problem that caused retirement

Jaguars retirement was caused by a fault in a drive shaft component. Jaguar is confident that it's been rectified and we can look forward to a competitive weekend from Jaguar.

"Having now understood the problem and corrected it, we go to Malaysia optimistic given the encouraging pace we demonstrated (in Australia)," said managing director David Pitchforth.
The two drivers have been acclimatising on the Malaysian island of Langkawi since the opening race of the season.
"The humidity during the race can be overwhelming," said Webber. "With that in mind I know the team will be adopting extra measures to improve the efficiency of the cooling system on the car."
