Klien is hoping to get an F1 drive for his b'day..

Christian Klien is hoping to receive a Red Bull Racing contract for his birthday, which coincides with the unveiling of Red Bull Racings 2005 Formula One challenger on the 7th of February. His main competition for the contract is F3000 champion Vitantonio Liuzzi.

Here’s what he has to say about it:

"I am happy about the news that David Coulthard will join the team in 2005," the Austrian said. "I think he is a great guy, also very disciplined and fun to work with. Of course it would have been nice to find a contract for next season under the Christmas tree, but let us see, my Birthday is in February. Maybe then? No just kidding!"

"Seriously, I have shown my best my best during the recent practices, tests and training. Everyone seemed pleased and content (so) now it's up to the team to decide. Hopefully the New Year will bring the decision in my favour."
