David Coulthard has recieved a fine from the Turkish authorities for "illegal driving" during a PR exercise in Istanbul prior to the German Grand Prix.

DC had been booked to drive across the Bosphorus bridge which links the European and Asian continents. During the stunt, DC drove his RB1 into a lane on the bridge that is normally designated for cars which have paid a toll fee. Despite the bridge being closed to normal traffic for the crossing, the enforcement cameras were still turned on and caught Coulthard in the act, triggering an automatic fine of 33,000,000 Lira (about £14). Red Bull Racing have paid the fine on behalf of DC!
