So who’s ready for the rollercoaster?

Last nights victory, a deserved and resounding one according to Peter Beagrie, has put us back in amongst it. Sure, we still need Palace to lose a game or Bristol City and Watford to suffer a total collapse as well as us getting 6 points from the last two games.

After the Ipswich heartbreak of a last minute leveller, I thought it was all over. But to win, in my opinion, the toughest game of the three left to play, my optimism has risen ever so slightly.

So lets look at what’s next, firstly Coventry away. A fixture that hasn’t given us many benefits over the past couple of seasons, coupled with the fact that Coventry are still not safe from the drop. A team that in the last 5 home games have seen a total of 8 points from 15, winning two, drawing two and a loss in their last home game against Stoke. Will their confidence be high since beating Colchester 5-1 at Layer Road? Will Wolves turn up giving their all knowing that should we fail to win this game then our season is over?

Then there’s Plymouth. Seemingly nothing to play for now apart from going out from the season on a high note, can SEB do to them what so many of our former strikers have done to us in the past? Obviously this game stands for not a lot unless the three points are collected Saturday afternoon.

But dare we dream? There are arguments for and against a lot of things this season. Too many to go into really, but in the main there are the obvious Mick McCarthy arguments as well as how the league has panned out. Should we make the play offs will it be deserved for in the main collecting the points to get us there, or would it be a total injustice?

Would it be Wolves though if everything were done with ease and little stress? To be honest I don’t think so.

All I know is that its not over yet, so those with a nervous disposition, high bloody pressure, dodgy tickers I feel for you.
