Wolves Go 6 Points Clear with Comprehensive Win

To put it bluntly, from the moment, from the moment the first whistle went, Burnley were never in the game. Wolves, in my opinion, started to show some of the football which has taken us to the summit of the Coca Cola Championship. This was proved by the fact that Wolves managed to muster 16 shots compared to the 2 the visitors had at Carl Ikeme.
Two Michael Kightly goals were the different in the 2 teams, however Wolves' play really deserved the score line to be far greater. That said, the only other real chance to trouble the visitors 'keeper was a chance that fell to Richard Stearman, which the Burnley 'keeper saved.
Wolves attacking play at times was a joy to watch, and for the first time in a number of games we didn't look like conceding a goal. We have been leaking a few goals recently; however I feel that Carl Ikeme deserves his place in the starting 11 With the exception of 1 of the goals against Norwich, who can say any of the goals have been his fault? It seems to me that he gets unfair treatment from some fans, where if it has been Wayne Hennessey that had made that mistake, no-one would have batted an eye lid.
I am sure that there are going to be some performances that we are not happy with, however as long as we keep up with the attacking football we have been producing this season, I am sure we will be able to put most teams to the sword. Don't forget we also have Mat Jarvis to come back, who does have the potential to rip opposition defences apart. Sure, we will concede the odd goal now and again, but to be honest I would prefer to watch an all action game full of goals, than a dour 1-0 win that we saw so much of last season.
Onwards and Upwards.

With the amount of goals we are scoring you can't see anything else but promotion...
I think people forget that not only is he inexperienced but was out injured all of last season with a knee injury so he was always going to be a bit rusty in his first few games.
I thought it was a champions performance yesterday, solid at the back and clinical upfront, there almost an arrogant swagger to our game and never looked in danger of not getting all three points.
