2 Signings in, more on the Way?

Well it seems that the off season is now well and truely in full swing. Let's break it down so far.....

It might have seemed to take a while but last week Wolves made their first confirmed ventures into the Transfer Market. First through the "revolving door" was Serbian International and Red Star Belgrade captain Nenad Milijas for an Undisclosed Fee, thought to be in the region of £2.5 million.

In my opinion last season Wolves needed a few more goals from midfield (shoot me down in you think I am wrong) and with a record of 16 goals last season this surely has to be a good signing? The only potential stumbling block is obtaining a work permit, with the original application being recjected. Jez Moxey did say that he thought that it would go to apeal so fingers crossed that the deal still goes through if it has not already.

The second player Wolves have brought in, to get the Premiership experience that Mick McCarthy was after was former Reading 'keeper Marcus Hahnemann on a free transfer. Up until the end of last season Hahnemann was the first choice 'keeper at Reading but due to the fact they missed out on promotion and coupled with Reading needing to reduce their wage bill, Hahnemann was released from his contract. Wolves moved quickly to aquire his services for next season, and who knows maybe gain the number 1 jersey?

Wolves have also tied down a couple of last seasons best performers with Karl Henry and Kevin Foley signing new 4 year deals with the club. It is also reported that Sylvan Ebanks-Blake will sign a new deal in the coming days, so it seems that the foundations are already in place for the team and we just need to add some players to help the team try and keep their place in the Premiership for the following season(s).

This is just the start of what we hope will be an eventful off season and there is already a reported new signing due in the next few days. I am feeling really optimistic about the opening game of next season against West Ham, and the following games where hopefully we can hit the ground running , make a good start and pick up some valuable points.

wolves need a few experienced premier league players, like in defence and midfield

We all know that we need players with premier experience a CB&CF - I for one hope they don't rush into signing players I hope they take their time so that we get good quality players who can hack it in the premier players who are dedicated to the Wolves cause not just looking for one last mega pay day The blouse have signed a good few players but can they hack it up there in the prem We don't have to look far to see who made bad signings and went straight back down(Sm22)..Wolfie

I still say we should stump the money up front and snap up TOM HUDDLESTONE

This guy is a quality player and the calibre of player we need because of his versatility and work rate of the aray of areas, positions & effort he put's into games he plays

SIGN HIM NOW BEFORE WE MISS OUT
