The Season is upon us

It seems like only yesterday that the season finished and we were waiting with anticipation for the new season to start. Well here we are ladies and gents, it is upon us!!
The squad are now currently in Australia for a pre-season training camp and a couple of games against Perth Glory and North Queensland Fury. Personally speaking I think that the hot and humid temperatures will be a good way to assess the fitness of the squad and get them well and truely ready for the Premiership season.
On another note I would just like to say well done to Moxey, McCarthy and Morgan for the signings we have made over the past week. There really have been some quality players brought in (on paper at least) and hopefully if we can get a couple more players we should hopefully be ready for the West Ham game on the opening day of the season. I still cannot see us signing Michael Mancienne from Chelsea however I feel that another Centre Back, Midfielder and perhaps a backup striker are a must if we are to challenge in the Premiership. I guess only time will tell!
Sorry that this update is short but I have got a few other things on my plate at the moment!
