Birmingham 0-0 Wolves - St. Andrews Stalemate

By Tom Bason

Wolves and Birmingham will both head into the fourth round FA Cup draw after a stalemate at St Andrews. Matt Jarvis went closest to winning it, hitting the post late on, but ultimately neither side did enough to force a result.

I'll forgive you the Subject line then, since you have a bad eye! Hope it's OK - try a used teabag on it!

Putting aside the 'plonker of the week' award ;-), like you I am baffled by the team selection. What is going on in Mick's mind?

It's really over now. A hopeless performance with the game there for the taking, resulting in a replay that we can well do without.

The FA Cup has become the egg and spoon race of top tier football, and would the final wake up call for the 3Ms be that no-one bothers to buy a ticket for the replay? The club is sleepwalking into nowhere, and it is so hard to care anymore.

Completely sums up how I feel ,I dont regret sending my ST back to the club.I`m bored to tears of the 3 Ms ,rip off ticket prices, excuses for not signing players ,crap performances and general contentment just to finish 17th again.
I think an overall apathy has set in with many fans. Morgans ambitions for wolves seem to involve investing the bare minimum and hopes to sell the club on to generate maximum profit with a new stand/s we wont fill, thinking we will all be mugs enough to renew on the early bird watching henry n co send us to sleep by continuing to ply their wretched trade.

I'm trying not to think of the money I've invested this season, ST, petrol, parking and hotel stayovers at times. I can see me going down with the sinking ship, never to surface.

i remember you saying a few years ago you are from up north and have an even further journey to make...the long trips witnessing this rubbish grate after a bit dont they.Like you I spend more time gettng there than the match itself but as for parking go to the science park ,it`s free...bit of a walk to the ground but no excuse for laziness (Sm7)

I have parked down the A449 - not sure it's the Science Park but it should have been a Park and Ride - but it's just a Park? Yes, that's free, but when it's chucking down it's a bit of a walk. I like Sunday matches - then I can park for free! (Sm151).

When they are trying hard, i don't mind all the inconvenience, but, as you say, it gets a bit much when they roll over - and when the referee/linesmen are utterly useless.

Roll on the spring!
