Good evening everyone. Time to hide behind the sofa..... Clarke starts tonight.

Wolves having the more possession and beginning to threaten. Sako waking up,Clarke useless. Defence looking solid..sloppy passing from midfield hasn't helped them.

Evans lines up a shot from 25ish yards, goes wide.
Beginning to think our lads have given up on Clarke as well now... shoot on sight seems the better option !

Exactly what I was thinking Ian.

Another 2 wolves corners, Sako takes. Useless. 4 different corner takers in a game and a half, all garbage. Practice ffs.

You get what you deserve in football and a team that has no ambition to improve on the likes of Clarke shouldn't be anywhere near the promotion places.

Typical Wolves this season... loads of possession completely wasted, no threat up front, Clarke should never be on the pitch,utter garbage. Our academy lads can't do any worse surely.

Wolves not out of it, hard scrap. Sloppy stuff from midfield has cost us,Charlton being gifted opportunities.

Leon Clarke..... Well we all knew what was going to happen didn't we. Fkin useless, get rid.
Also... try practising some corners next week.

We've huffed and puffed but never really looked like breaking them down. Saville took a good first time shot & hit the bottom of the post. Henry has taken on their left back several times with varying rates of success. To be fair their goal was totally against the run of play and just a lucky chance by a centre back from a corner which gave Ikeme no chance.
The midfield of Evans Saville and McDonald has worked with Mac supreme in his organisation, confidence and delivery.
Up front we are toothless!! Clarke seldom seems to be prepared for a pass to come in usually nowhere near it if it does. He did win the ball and pass to Saville for his shot but otherwise he has been missing. Sako looks a threat as always, but we still have to accept that a high percentage of his work will come to nothing before maybe he hits a class shot.
Will be interesting to see how long KJ continues with his 'experiment'!

i knew this was gonner be a hard game BUT,weve brought it all on ourselves, no one can take a set piece, and f#cking clarke is absolute shite, GET HIM OFF JACKET HE SHOULD NEVER WEAR A WOLVES SHIRT AGAIN. like angry has said, if we wont go out a buy a new striker we deserve everything we get. I don't buy the "against the run of play" theory. It's no use playing tippytappy stuff and having God knows how much possession if you don't do anything with it. We don't look like scoring. Charlton will be elated if all we do is take potshots from 25 yards out.

Dicko coming on has changed the game. Wolves doing all the pressing but Charlton still getting the odd sniff.
Wolves deserve to be level at the least.

McDonald now sends a screamer wide of the post. Charlton look rattled.

Evans might be a good crosser of the ball but he's a liability keep giving it away so cheaply.

Sako perfect pass to Dicko who fluffs it.

Sorry I couldn't really contribute tonight Ian but the pictures were running slow!! We were by far the better team in the 2nd half with efforts coming from many players. Dicko made a real difference and came close & Sako & McDonald also had good attempts, Defence played well again and Ikeme was always ready to collect.
The player who has really impressed me lately is Golbourne - he really seems to be developing into a solid and reliable defender who can also get forward and make a useful contribution us front.
Let's now look forward to a home game!!
