Pre Season Friendly - FC Paris V Wolves Match Thread.

Wolve took on FC paris today in their second pre-season friendly over in France. This was a 3pm game so I again missed it live as I was in bed. Like last time I have run through the game so you can read through at your leisure. Lets see if the boy's can make it two in a row.

FC Paris V Wolves

First Half Line Up: Flatt; Doherty, Stearman (c), Hause, Golbourne; Coady, Ebanks-Landell, Rowe; Edwards; Afobe, Dicko.

First Half

1 - Within 40 seconds Afobe wins a corner down the left. Tommy Rowe to take. The outswinger is easily cleared.

3 - So it is a 4-3-1-2 for Wolves, Ebanks-Landell sitting in front of the back four with Rowe and Coady either side, Edwards ahead. Doherty's cross in the direction of Edwards is well dealt with by the visitors and Paris FC clear.

6 - The Paris right back advances into the box and sends a half volley high across goal. Never troubling Flatt. Christopher Glombard is released into the right side of the Wolves box but his pacy cross runs too long for the Paris attackers.

8 - Cristian Kinkela rises to meet a cross from the left wing but his header doesn't trouble Flatt and runs well wide.

8 - The ball breaks for Dicko on the edge of the Paris box but is half-volley misses narrowly over.

9 - Rowe with the inswinger this time and it nearly yields an opening goal. Ebanks-Landell's header whistles over the bar from close range.

14 - Different match to Wednesday with Paris looking to play more of a patient passing game. Wolves haven't got going yet.

16 - Chance. Edwards sends a cross towards Afobe but as he chests it down, six yards out, the Paris defender intercepts.

18 - Paris striker Balde turns outside the box before firing one over the bar. Neither goalkeeper called into action yet.

20 - Golbourne plays it over the top for Dicko to chase. He gets there first but is snuffed out by the defender.

21 - Romain Grange comes closest to scoring, lashing a 25-yarder inches over the bar via deflection. Corner comes to nothing.

23 - Christopher Glombard finds Hamza Hafidi with a curling cross, he rises but sees his header easily collected by Flatt.

24 - Kortney Hause goes all CRonaldo on Paris, slaloming into the box with a great run but the keeper comes out to collect.

25 - Afobe and Dicko are linking up nicely. This time the former feeds the latter who shoots high and wide from the edge of the area.

27 - Afobe jinks into the area before being pushed to the floor. No pen. 'We always get rubbish refs' is the family-friendly Wolves chant.

28 - Nice from Ebanks-Landell who sprays a lovely ball wide to Doherty. Edwards is popping up everywhere. Rowe and Coady interchanging too. Inventive Wolves fans singing "Is this a library" in French to their Paris FC counterparts. Receives a big laugh

34 - Golbourne gets down the left wing but his cross is straight into the Paris keeper's arms.

35 - Kinkela cuts in dangerously from the right for Paris before curling past the far post with his left foot.

37 - Grange feigns to take a free kick, pretending to tie his shoelaces before passing to a team mate who scuffs his shot.

39 - Six minutes to the break and it's been pretty even here at Clairefontaine. Not enough fluidity to Wolves' game.

42 - Rowe's corner rises over Hause. Remember it'll be all change for the second half with a different Wolves XI.

44 - Edwards meets a cross at the back post with the Paris 'keeper sprawling but his header from a narrow angle strikes the post!

HALF TIME - Paris FC 0 Wolves 0

WOLVES SECOND HALF: Burgoyne; Weeks, Iorfa, Hayden, Deslandes; Henry, McDonald, Jacobs; Ronan; Van La Parra, Enobakhare

51 - fairly quiet start to the half. Before the game Kenny Jackett stressed the importance of a winning mentality - he'll want to win this.

53 - Magnificent from Connor Ronan who pirouettes past a couple of Paris players and then takes another one on. Crowd loving it. Outrageous footwork from Ronan, he battles to win the ball before sending two Paris defenders flying three times.

Connor Ronan is only 17 but has impressed during the tour. He's quick, got great feet and picks a good pass. Jackett has been impressed.

55 - Ronan looks for the run of Deslandes on the left wing, the full-back breaks into the box and is just too late. 'Keeper clears.

57 - Good feet from Enobakhare this time who sprays wide to Jacobs and his cross only just misses the sliding Van La Parra.

58 - Jacobs with a tester from 20 yards but the curling effort is an easy one for the Paris keeper. Wolves playing well here.

60 - Van La Parra twice got told off for diving against Chambly and the referee thinks he's at it again. Looked like a foul this time though.

61 - Enobakhare, who scored Wolves' late winner on Wednesday, fires one into the side netting from the right of the area.

63 - A quick free kick from Paris and Kinkela drills one across goal.

66 - Multiple changes for the Paris side. Could attempt names but in summary several French players replace several more.

68 - Chance of the game but Pires - not that one - shoots too closely to Burgoyne from close range. Good hands from the keeper.

69 - And now here's Wolves' best chance. Van La Parra races through on goal but the keeper parries behind the right-footed shot for a corner

71 - Enobakhare replaced by Donovan Wilson up front for Wolves.

81 - A great Burgoyne clearance to Weeks. Wilson's flick sets up Ronan. But despite a strong challenge he doesn't go down and the move ends.

84 - GOAL - PARIS 0 WOLVES 1

Fantastic strike from DONOVAN WILSON who turns sharply and lashes past the keeper from 18 yards. Very nice.

89' Van La Parra cuts inside from the left wing, he lashes a shot on goal but doesn't catch it well and misses wide.
