Bolton V Wolves Match Thread
2013 Programme
By Badge32
September 11 2015
It's the battle of the Wanderers tomorrow as we head off to face Bolton on their patch. We have had a bad run against them of late as thay have become a bit of a bogey side for us.
It's time we put that right and got a win against them to push us up the table and start mounting an early challenge. I will join in tomorrow (Depending on how tired I am and if i can get out of bed that is) and try to help cheer on the lads in spirit.

lets hope notlob don't bring a young n hungry game changer on from the bench as they are cat one academy club as well with all those talented stars this much vaunted status apparently produces.

Hope I'm proven very wrong, but this side looks the weakest I've seen it since when we headed to L1.
Jackett is tinkering again - Ikeme on the bench again - and playing players simply because he's bought them this summer.
What has Iorfa done wrong?
Scares me to how little quality we have on the bench. Have I missed an injury to McD?

Never do well after an international break. Still, this team has mid-table written all over it.

Stonewall penalty given away by Ebanks-Landell & converted by their young player Clough. Doesn't sound like we have created anything really. Poor defending to concede both goals. No explanation on a Signal re: McDonald's absence

Landell is garbage, not ready for the first team but as a selling club forced to sell the likes of Stearman perhaps just staying up should now be the objective.

Working fine for me Badge, that is unfortunately. Sound like we are cr@p today with poor defending. Commentary critical of ELB showing his inexperience for a definite penalty.
Lots of team selections to be subject of discussion for me, though Price is injured.

ive never ever heard a wolves team play so bad, weve been f#cking useless from the start, the two central defenders are absolutely garbage and weve let stearman go for next to nothing, JACKET AND MORGAN have turned the team from promotion hopefulls into relegation cadidates, when i saw the team at the start i thought that's p#sspoar

Thommo is the co-commentator. Really pushing the inexperience of the defence and critical of the Stearman sale. 2nd half started

what a complete f#cking shambles weve turned into, but when you let your best players go and dont replace them and dont sign anyone anybody decent that's what your goner get

Wallace off & Ojo on. Wallace's debut doesn't promise much for the future!!

Bolton player should have seen a red card, but not even booked! Adobe makes it 2-1

Martinez makes a good save from Heskey - "probably his best save in a Wolves shirt", then another from Davis

The stats show we was the better side yet it did not sound it, However most of our shots came in the last five to ten minutes of the game.

Ultimately not good enough. We gave it a go in that second half, a number of very good chances squandered but there again so did Bolton, in fact they missed a sitter and Martinez made 2 very good saves.
I must be honest I am worried about our defence and the midfield that supports them.
A poor result unfortunately

I agree, the defence is going to be a major problem for us this season.

"Stearman was sold for footballing reasons..."
Those words should haunt Jackett until the day he is sacked...
We couldn't buy a clean sheet.

it will 2long, but what a stupid thing for jacket to say, when 85% of wolves fans disagree with him. McDonald was dropped for the same reason
