Wolves take on a side who have four former players on their books. Sam Vokes, Michael Kightly, Stephen Ward & David Jones will all be looking to heap more pressure onto Wolves boss Kenny Jackett whilst giving themselves a shot at going top of the Championship.
Wolves have managed just one win in five and will need to make some major improvements from Tuesday's performance if they are to get the three points today. Any kind of poor performance today will no doubt see the south bank turn on Kenny Jackett and the players. On the plus side our head to head record is good against Burnley but was has happened in the past will have no influence on todays game.

I've lost count of the number of wolves / Burnley games over the years but one memorable one was at t.urd moor back in the dave jones era I think it was. Due to the proximity of the place from my house only decided to go up on the day and ended up in the home end. We took a 3-0 lead and all I could hear from an old guy behind telling his mate what a @#$%& club wolves were and the apparent shame of being beaten by us. In a moment of madness/ rage turned around withdrawing a wolves scarf I had concealed in my pocket without saying anything but long enough for him to see it. His mouth dropped but it backfired as others witnessed it leading at first to audible " there's a wolves fan there" to paper cups being thrown from a couple of rows back. It's quite surreal looking back and stupid form my behalf but they pulled it back to 3-2 and the guys teeth behind me were rattling so hard in rage it had almost become a setting for a Jeremy Kyle show with cries all around of" fcking do the wolves @#$%&" and " why aren't you cheering our second goal you @#$%&" from a few others .
I think had they got the equaliser half the stand would have descended in a mass of wide eyed jug eared hills have eyes extras to have finished me off

I was going to take my son and dad today but I've decided that the rain ,wind and potential 0-0 or 0-1 score line isn't enough to convince me to part with £70 + today. Hope im wrong ??????????

Sounds fun Angry! When in with home fans as an away Wolves fan (it's happened many times), I often elect to speak to my neighbour pre-match in an effort to make peace and have a general chat. This relies on my peronality and charisma shining though which is a high risk strategy, however I must say I've generally had good experiences with only the odd observation of jaw dropping horror.
Anyway to Burnley. By the laws of the supernatural and footballing omens which have been proven this week, I am hopeful we'll beat Burnley today. After all, we are their bogey side. Other than that and after the horrors of Tuesday night, there is absolutely no evidence for a Wolves win, except also that in this league form of any side may only last one match. Fingers crossed coz we can't be as bad twice in a row?

Ive been in with the home fans twice Angry. One at Ellend Road (I was 12 years old) when we lost 3-2 in 1984 and the other was at the Hawthorns in 1989 I believe when we won 2-1 thanks to a Stowell penalty save and a late Steve Bull Winner. Leeds fans did not bother me much but I did @#$%& myself when they chanted 'If we lose. Wolves will die' whilst we was 2-1 up.

Badge has set the scene with his excellent spread of information. I'm listening on Player and will contribute from time to time. Admittedly I'm not very confident about the outcome today, but there again I wasn't before the match at Brum last week either!!

Considering how well Burnley have been playing I think that's a better result than we may have expected, and certainly a better performance than on Tuesday

I said on another thread I would be surprised if Burnley won so the draw not unexpected. This league is rancid, very little to choose between teams but we will probably get posters on other places stating we have turned the corner. No corner turned, just a sh*tty league where you can flip a coin for most teams.. the difference being ones that invest are slightly more consistent.

Cheers mate. I think I have found a better version to use. I have two nights off after tonight so will try and look into it then. Only one more week of nights to go and then my transfer to another store and days is sorted.

were a far better side with jack price in it and i think jacket has finally realized this, he singled price out for his performance today,so he's got to just stick with this now instead of keep swapping him with coady when were playing lesser sides, but playing edwards behind afobe doesn't work,because afobe's always coming deep and that leaves us with no one up front i would like us to start playing two strikers if we had done that today we would have won. ojo,s far better from the bench

I thought it was another KJ classic mash-up when I saw your team sheet Badge, with Afobe in goal and Martinez as loan striker... Sadly Afobe yet again tried to prove this.
If he gets much deeper, we'll have him wearing gloves. We've steadily turned this lad impotent with lack of support and the insistence of Edwards as the link man.
With the midfield dropping further back to protect a frail defensive unit, this isn't going to change soon, and Afobe's confidence is suffering for it.

Drivings a bl.oody pain in the uk these days with jams everywhere. You'd think where I am in east Anglia it'd be better but driving down to Felixstowe the other day from near Dereham you have to negotiate everything imaginable from slug drivers to boy racers to dithering donuts on roundabouts. Going to Wolverhampton for me would be even worse than 2long although probably less distance as the crow flies yet the A roads make it not worth the effort.

Agree Angry. Sometimes go up the M11 then A14 to cut out the M1, but scarcely better.

That's far enough 2long - Must be close tp 200 miles each way, similar to me? The feeling of let down is often multiplied by a long tedious journey home and visa versa. I know the feeling well! Not so bad after a terrific win though eh?
