It's F.A.Cup day again and Wolves take a trip to Anfiled for the minor task of facing Liverpool. Liverpool used a youthful side in the last round but I doubt they will do the same this time round against us. Wolves knocked our premier League side Stoke in the last round and hope to cause a second shock here today.
Match Facts
This will be the first time Liverpool and Wolves have met in the FA Cup since February 1952, also at the fourth round stage, on the day Anfield's all-time record attendance of 61,905 was set.
This will be the sixth F.A.Cup meeting between these two sides with wolves leading 3-2.
Wolves have scored just seven goals in their past 13 games in all competitions against Liverpool, and never more than once in a match.
The Reds have lost just one of their seven most recent meetings with Wolves in all competitions (W5 D1).
Liverpool's past two losses at Anfield in the FA Cup have been to second-tier teams (Barnsley in 2008 and Reading 2010).
Wolves have only progressed from one of their past eight fourth-round ties in the FA Cup, beating Watford 4-1 in 2007-08.
Wolves' 2-0 win over Stoke in the last round was their first away FA Cup win since January 2010 when they beat Tranmere, which was also the last time they won back to back away games in the competition.

Good luck to the team today, I truly hope we have a go. I haven't seen the team as yet - You can look at this 2 ways, the loss midweek and recent league form may intice Klopp to really go for it today, conversely, he may want to continue 'concentrate on the league'.
Anyway - Up the Wolves! Off the the pub to watch and am (at least at present) really looking forward to it.

OK the Liverpool team has been published. Another second team. Klopp continues to under value the cup. Interesting.
Of course, we could in theory get a good hiding, however if that team functions as I saw them at Home Park, then we have a chance.

Pity we have a reserve keeper otherwise we should win on paper.. this liverpool team is awful arguably weaker than the one that managed 1 goal against league 2 plymouth over 180 minutes of football.

Now that was absolutely terrific. Just shows that possession means nothing and the only statistics that matter are the goals. The first half effort was superb and to repeat the possession was very deceptive because we were the better side.
Mind, typical Wolves, concede a late goal and it squeaky leaky bum time! My pulses were racing!
Yes, that Liverpool side was poor on Klopps part, but they're at home and had enough quality BUT it turned out to be a repeat of the effort seen at Argyle - average.
I'll just mention the atmosphere in the pub in Ivybridge. 7 Wolves fans, including me, attempting to replicate the atmosphere generated by the fans at Anfield. We might not have managed it but we had a bloody good go.

The last few minutes were absolute torture meaning the game was virtually unwatchable as I was sure Liverpool would get a dodgy pen or deflected goal as they often seem to. Certainly an interesting year in the cup for once and as I type, spurs are currently 0-2 down at home to wycombe

What a great game. When we often waste so many chances, putting two away like that was really enjoyable. Hope Costa is OK; he looks terrifying if a little selfish.
