As expected the only change to this afternoon's team sees Ruben Vinagre replace the injured Jonny Otto. Line up:

Rui Patrício, Doherty, Coady, Bennett, Boly, Vinagre, Moutinho, Neves, Hélder Costa, Jiménez, Cavaleiro

Substitutes
Ruddy, Dendoncker, Saïss, Gibbs-White, Traoré, Bonatini, Jota

Good work down the left wing by Vinagre earns first corner followed by another but come to nothing

Aaron Mooy opens the scoring for Town. Doc lost the ball then totally failed to track back as the ball then came in from his side for Mooy to bury in the corner.

Great challenge by Coady leaves Pritchard in a heap on the edge of our box. Town are proving a real handful so far

Ruben Vinagre is showing real confidence in his attacking play down left wing

Doherty' defensive play is worrying me today. He seems to be ignoring their threat down his side of the pitch

Ryan Bennett of all people gets to have our first shot at goal & it sails over the bar!
Our front three are struggling to have an impact so far.

Just got in and surprised at the score.
Hope things can improve.

Town are overrunning the midfield like Watford did, so Joao & Neves are struggling to control the game. Wolves generally very poor in the first half with the ball being given away far too much and attacking play being broken up too easily.

Mounie's header from corner on target but blocked by Doc. Wolves at 6's & 7's in defence and ultimately glad to hear the half time whistle. They have been very poor in first half and haven't stamped any authority on the game.

Traore gets a free kick 30 yes out but Boly goes offside. Town still well organised & good value for their lead

Traore puts ball across & Raul's header is cleared off the line

It was as close as it possibly could be to being a goal!!!

I have a bad feeling about this.

Cynical foul on Vinagre just outside the area gives Neves a chance
But fails to clear the wall. Then Costa puts a good ball in. Wolves showing some improvement

Good opportunity wasted after good work by Raul Traore flat-footed in the area

Another effort by Jimenez shot wide. Gibbs-White has settled well into the game

Good save by Rui after clever play from a Town. Traore is outmuscled and ends up on the ground so many times it's unreal.Town get free kick on the edge of our area & Mooy puts it straight in the corner off Rui

One minute plus added time to play. At the moment my forecast of 3-1 to Wolves looks laughable!!

Dreadful display by Wolves but a very efficient show from H'field Town who never looked back after taking an early lead, through very poor play by Doherty.
Vinagre played OK in Jonny's place & Gibbs-White did very well in the second half. Traore posed some threat but it still confounds me how much we paid for him!! Raul went within 1.8cm of scoring an equaliser before Mooy got his second direct from a free kick.
This does auger well for us playing away at Cardiff - again live on Sky - on Friday night.

Just back from watching that rubbish could say we were second to every ball but then we never went for the ball looked like we had been drugged could not put two passes together I have seen Wolves play bad but this was unreal I could have put together a team of 70year old and have shown more energy than that crap

Sad effort. 2nd best all over the pitch. Dreadful. Woeful. And all other bad words ending in ful.

Seriously question my sanity. Was that the same team I saw versus Arsenal?

Worst we have played under nuno for sure we just never got into the game but Huddersfield came with a game plan and it worked to perfection.a worrying performance today,lose at Cardiff Friday and the alarm bells will be ringing.all teams have bogey sides and Huddersfield are certainly one of ours! Blame moxey I spotted him in the crowd the jinx! Time for carm heads I think nuno needs to settle them down again.

It was quite painful to watch.

Sometimes you see early we are not at the races in certain games.This remind me of our loss to Forest last season.I said to myself after three minutes that it didn´t look good.

I only give Coady,Traore and MGW the okay today.The rest was sub par.

We were outnumbered and outplayed midfield.I can certainly understand Nunos thinking of having a good and stable ground play..but sometimes one must adapt to other circumstances,and it was easy to see early on Terriers total dominance central midfield.That should have been adressed IMO.

Cardiffs now feeling like a huge match.

I would play MGW for Moutinho..who has been declining in quality overall for a while now.It might also give Neves more space to start to look like the player he was with Saiss last season.Neves hasn´t thrived in the shadow of Moutinho,and today was the single worst performance I´ve seen Ruben produce in a Wolves shirt.

I think Costa has been given enough chances by now,and he hasn´t taken them.Traore deserves his run of games,and I would play him against Cardiff at Helders expense.

No panic just yet.We lose to Cardiff and concerns will rise.

Fair play to Huddersfield, they are the only side so far that has outplayed us (maybe Watford). The only positives were Coady and, in the second half, Gibbs-White. I also find it difficult to see why we paid so much for Traore. Yes, he has lots of pace so he will always be dangerous in that respect but not much end product and he spends as much time on the floor than he does on his feet whenever he's tackled. I'm also not so sure about Jiminez. He works hard, holds the ball well and brings others into the game but I never feel confident in him scoring.
That is however, the only time we have played that badly so not worrying yet and a chance to get back on track against Cardiff, although I thought that today.

Dire performance and another game without a goal.
We are heading into relegation territory.

I hope not,and I do believe we´ll be fine after 38 games.

Our average performance is for sure heads and shoulders above what happened against Huddersfield,and it might turn around on Friday even.

Cardiff will be another in our faces opposition and the way I see it we have enough quality in the starting eleven to deal with it.Like earlier mentioned,I would play MGW beside Neves.I think Morgan did just fine against Huddersfield.Good technique,wanting the ball and putting himself in positions time and again to secure possesion.At present I find him a more positive player than Moutinho,and I am also curious how Neves will react with another player than Mou beside him.

I am a little bit fed up with both Jota and Costa at the moment.I think both has recieved ample opportunity to produce far more than they actually have,and I think it is fair that Traore gets the same chance.Traore might be a frustrating player at times.He has a habbit of falling down way too easily,and end product is still hit and miss.
However,he produced our best goalscoring chance against Huddersfield,he ran himself free against gunners before that AND pegged up MGW for his crossbar effort.We become more goalthreatening with him on the pitch compared to both Jota and Costa.

Cav was insanely bad yesterday.However,the guy do score from time to time.It is more than can be said for Jota and Costa.

The team must be eager to impress after that shower of...yesterday,and player for player we are better than Cardiff.

I think we´ll knick it.
