Fulham star v Wolves hero
By Wolves December 26 2018
Wolves' Boxing Day travels take them to bottom of the table Fulham for today's match seeking a return to winning ways following the home loss to Liverpool
Nuno Espirito Santo will not be unerestimating the threat posed by Fulham despite the implications of their position at Christmas, especially as they now have proven winner Claudio Ranieri in the Manager's seat. Wolves came unstuck at Craven Cottage last season during a winning streak, and will be hoping to cope better with their threat upfront, especially from Alexander Mitrovic.
Diogo Jota is unlikely to be fit to play as he's still struggling with a hamstring injury, but Wolves have no other injury concerns. Dnagerous young player Ryan Sessignon is in contention to start after missing Fulham's 0-0 draw at Newcastle.
The match will again feature live on Sky TV kicking off at 12:30pm. Updates will be made on this board for those unable to watch the game.

Well..... the picture at the head of today's page has proved misleading as Nuno has dropped Ruben Neves to the bench - shock horror!!! Many fans have said recently that his performances have been below par, so here we are!! On the other side of the coin 21 year old defender Max Kilman gets a place on the ahead of Hause and Dendoncker
Interesting eh Andy!! I've never heard of Kilmarnock either - he's a member of the Under 23 Squad and presumably must have impressed on the training ground.
Our ref today is Andre Mariner

Saiss tugs back Schurrle but ref plays advantage & lets him off with a warning. Mitrovic fires over the top. Traore & Raul leading the line with MGW in a No.10 role
Traore struggling to make the impact he managed in the first half against L'pool, and still routinely falling over! Saiss taken out by Chambers who is lucky to avoid a yellow card
Half time whi blows.
A pretty toothless performance from Wolves - once again appearing not particularly bothered against a poorer team. Mitrovic has often bemused our defence & should have scored. Our possession has all been in midfield and I actually think we have missed Neves' distribution.
Half time Fulham 0 Wolves 0
Ten minutes plus added time to play, Fulham lead. Wolves hunting the equaliser. It looks like Kevin MacDonald coming on for Fulham & Ruben Vinagre to replace Jonny (as usual). So Neves sits the whole game out
All over and ends in a draw. Saiss gets his first Premiership goal to level after a Sessignon struck. We go up to i9th place. A scruffy game & we were poor in the first half, but improved in second half.
A draw is probably a fair reflection in truth.
Now... where's that cold beer!!!
Nevermind, a point at the Cottage is better than we achieved last season and a point to the cause.
I was at least impressed we fought back and managed the equaliser which we deserved.
I’m up to Wembley on Saturday, cannot wait for that one. Spurs hit another 5 today but can’t see that happening versus us. I travel with hope and a little bit of confidence!
Genuine question but what do others think about our poor performances against perceived lower order clubs than against the higher echelons, it is clear that something affects our performances in both examples. Undoubtedly the training regime will not be different so is it attitude or approach. I am confused, what are your opinions?

Pete
I really don't know TT, having watched every one of our games this season I don't see a reason for it. I don't think Nuno would let a change of attitude into the dressing room, so I'm not sure what it is!!
