Brighton will not roll over easily and although we have a better strength in depth and more skilful individuals we will have to respect them at all times or pay the penalty so our defence will have to be up to scratch. would like Vinagre to start today to give us a greater chance to get more crosses in which is where Brighton may be most vulnerable. A steady start required, we don't want to be chasing the game.

Unfortunately I can’t be part of the commentary today as I’m sitting in M’chester airport waiting for a delayed flight. Still at least I can watch the first half!! Ivybridge Wolf is at the game too.

Brighton having the best of the opening few minutes and have forced a couple of corners which come to nothing.

Thanks Wolverina we’re actually off to Vienna for 4 days Xmas shopping but our 4:25 departure has now been put back to 7pm!!! Still at least i’m able to see the game on Sky Go - when the wi-fi holds up!!

Both defences were very suspect in the first half so let’s hope that we tighten up a bit as our forwards have the beating of the Brighton defenders all day long.
Glad to see Jota on the scoresheet at last.

Not a great second half for us as we allowed Brighton to control the game and they applied far more pressure and were more effective than they were in the first half.
Should have taken advantage in the first half before we gave away those two goals, another match we should probably have won but nonetheless we are unbeaten again which must do something for the teams mentality and morale.
No standout performances although Dendoncker did very well again and Bennet will have to do well to dislodge him. Passing from defence was not up to the usual standard and brought undue pressure.
Onwards and upwards.

And we're on MOTD 2 last again.

Not long got home from Brighton, an excellent and worthwhile away fixture if you ever get the opportunity. Went up Saturday, 5 hour drive and a decent sea front hotel. Blo0dy busy on Saturday night, all sorts of parties going on. The Laines area is great, plenty of boozers and eateries and lots to see, an eclectic mix of people . Match day, much the same but a lovely touch of old gold and black in the town plus pubs as the day progressed and a nice touch with the ticket - free rail travel up to Falmer station. I’ve said previously, I really like the Amex and was pleased that despite being in with the Albion fans, I sat adjacent to a great vocal set of Wolves fans.

I thought the match was very entertaining. I understand we were last on MOTD again - why??

Brighton were lively from the start but we soon got going. What a brilliant 1st goal, beautiful move, football can be so simple. Absolutely delighted for Diogo. Then the turning point. Jota one on one, misses (should have been 2 and possibly game over), instead 3 minutes later we were 2-1 down. Talk about deflation. Brighton’s first goal was a superb finish though. Maupay, what a pain. Great we kept going and Jota got the equaliser we deserved.

Obviously the second half was flatter but still a good contest and surely we should have made more of the positions we were in. Doc, Jiminez and Cutrone (or Neto) all guilty of looking for a pass rather than shooting as examples. Added to that, some agricultural treatment of Traore, chopped and scythed. Terrible stuff.

Overall maybe a draw was fair but I woke up this morning feeling frustrated and a touch deflated we couldn’t secure all 3 points. Again a match where we should have scored more goals but I’m not complaining too much, we support a smashin’ team and manager - long may it continue!

In summary very enjoyable day, very decent match and a great weekend . Trouble is I’ve seen us 5 times this season so far P5 W0 D5 L0 and am attracting draws all round. Still unbeaten though!
