Looking forward to this match. Although Bruno probably hasn’t had enough time to fine tune the squad to his ideas I expect us to take the game to them as we did against Leicester and Spurs.
These are the games that we need to win if we are to aspire to top of table finish.
A good test for us and let’s get the rub of the green for once.

Wolves much the better side so far but yet to score!
Same high pressing game we are coming to expect and Utd unable to settle. Traore causing them problems every time he runs at them, just need that final touch.
All the players putting in a shift, nice to see.
Utd had the ball in the net but well offside.
Trincao and Semedo linking well and Neves bossing the midfield.
More of the same in the second half please.

Been on the phone to Sky for an hour trying to sort connectivity so missed 1st half. Going to settle for the next 45

Lost my stream so missed the goal!
Utd better in the second half but we continued to press forward and should not be ashamed of our performance. No points but plenty of positive play,the goals and points will come.

I can sum up the game for you folks.
I listened to the game on 5 live while I was watching my beloved Bohemians beat scummy Shamrock Rovers 2-1.

Anyway,............ Wolves played well ... lots of attacking opportunities... no luck in front of goal .... dodgy referee decision for the Man Utd Goal .... we couldnt convert numerous chances.. no luck etc.

Basically we couldnt hit a cows @#$%& with a Banjo .... 3 league games, zero points, zero goals, in the relegation zone. It was obvious 12 months ago where our problems lay...

Our next 2 games will define our season.

Lost stream just before the goal so haven't seen it.
Up until then a similar story to last week. No-one had a poor match but the same problem continues.
I don't know what to do about Raul. He doesn't look up to speed but he won't without matches. On the other hand we are desperate for goals and I would be temped to try Hwang.
I think I'm probably a lone voice on this but I don't know why people are so desperate for us to sign a centre-back. We've only conceded 3 goals in 4 matches. Fair enough, I didn't see todays but the other two were a penalty and a World class finish. As far as I can see everyone is playing well and we still have Boly and Mosquera to come in.
One other thing. I wish this stupid nonsense of putting the ball out of play for an "injured" player would stop. Most of the time they're not injured in the first place and as for it being a sporting gesture to put the ball out, there's nothing sporting about feigning injury. We had an attack half way in their half when Semedo put the ball out and when it re-started the ball ended up with our goalkeeper. All because Fernandez was pretending to be injured.
On a brighter note, the next 4 matches are more winnable (doesn't mean we will win them) so I keep the faith.

Their goal ……. Initially I didn’t think it was a foul on Neves, thinking it was a 50:50 but it clearly was and very disappointing indeed. Equally Sa will be, in classical football parlance, ‘disappointed he didn’t stop’ the shot ……. In actual fact, did he turn it in?

Third match, on top v Leicester second half, dominant v Spurs all match, another excellent performance overall this afternoon but you get nothing for being pretty ……. When is our first league goal coming from and from who? Today, we should have had at least 2-3 not just on footballing superiority, that is also based on clear cut chances. Hats off the DeGea for that double save from Saiss but how did he miss ….. twice?

Enjoyable match, very good performance and you might say robbed but if you don’t take your chances, you deserve nothing. Sad but true. Having said that, Manchester Utd will feel they’ve truly got away with one today.

The positive stuff is that we have played very well. Again. We have played three very good sides now and more than competed and on what I’ve seen, surely we can’t be far away? Let’s see what this new Korean lad is like. He’s nicknamed ‘The Bull’, that’s a tough act to follow and it’s actions not nicknames that’ll make the difference but I just hope the introduction of someone different up front will mix it up enough to turn a few matches for us. Not that anybody has played poorly.

Traore … what a player, he was superb again today (again no poor displays) and he was creating mayhem. Any player who gets you out of your seat is worth his weight in gold. Literally.

My worry and concern are the next few matches after the international break, Watford away and Brentford at home. These are matches we will be and should be looking at a couple of wins …. With goals. The reality is, how can we react against side of the ilk. Lage has got a few issues to sort out for sure but somehow needs to keep the playing momentum going as well. Personally I think both matches will be really tough!!

Post match conversation on SS where Roy Keane, Graeme Souness & Robbie Keane all saying that Pogba’s challenge on Neves leading up to the goal was a potential leg breaker but Mike Dean who was two yards away gave nothing, neither did Stuart Twatwell on VAR. They think Neves was too honest and should have gone down immediately.
I agree with AF I think there are much better priorities than a defender. My only concern is the reliance upon a left footed player at the right of central defence even though Kilman is playing well. Raul certainly needs help upfront and MGW and Fabio showed no improvement when they came on.
One thing is for sure we need to hold on to Traore, but also Podence played well when he came on.

Mike Dean take a bow just when you think his performances on the pitch can't get any worse he tops it by not seeing a blatant foul from 2 yards, its about time this clown retired and takes that other useless idiot atwell with him. Rant over! We played really well again at times but its the same old story so far this season we just cant hit the back of the net. Is it down to bad luck or bad finishing? I think it's a mixture of both but lady luck has certainly not been on our side so far this season. Raul still looks a little rusty which has to be expected after such a bad injury I just hope he returns to the player we all know because we certainly need him at his best. Unlucky again today wolves but the goals will come if we keep playing like that.

Essington, I agree with the vast majority of your post.... but LUCK can only be mentiond so many times... I put it down to the inability to take our chances... of which there have been many. Zero goals and zero points from 4 and a half hours of league football is alarming and while there is every indication that the goals may come, there is no guarentee. We just need a goal sniffer, he doesnt even have to be an exceptional player. I said many times last season that I was worried about the 21/22 season and I still stand over that. The premiership is ruthless!
