Wolves visit Elland Road today seeking to set a new club record of 4 consecutive Premier League wins.
After their last gasp win at Villa Park last Saturday, Wolves will be hoping to establish their superiority much earlier and come away with another three points to establish their position in the top half of the League. After his lengthy travels which led to him being benched for the majority of last week's game, Raul Jiminez is expected to lead the line in today's game. Federico Trincao is also available again, so it will be interesting to see who makes way. Daniel Podence made a huge impression and contribution in the final ten minutes at Villa Park so he wil also be seeking a starting role. Willy Boly has been unwell this week and will not be in the squad.
On the other hand Leeds United are struggling to field a strong team, and have already stated that they will be without Bamford, Ayling and possibly Phillips. Raphinha is expected to retun, but their team will be seen as weaker than desirable and will surely boost Wolves hopes of getting another win.
The match will kick off at 3pm and will be refereed by the relative newcomer Robert Jones with Peter Bankes on VAR Duty.
This board will hope to post regular updates on the progress of the game. Board members are also encouraged to post their own observations for the benefit of those otherwise unabe to follow the game

Two changes for today's game and at long last Ait Nouri gets a start ahead of Marcal. eves drops to the bench perhaps surprisingly after last week, and Raul Jiminez starts upfront. Line-up:
Certainly Bruno is not afraid to make changes. Surprised to see Neves on the bench but pleased to see RAN in the starting lineup. Leeds will be tough even with a depleted squad so our boys will have to be on their toes from the start. Expecting a hard earned victory.
Late tackle by Joao gets him an early yellow card which I didn’t think it merited. Free kick ends up with their keeper. RAN has his work cut out trying to stop Raphinha. Corner to Utd put over the bar by Saiss who is hurt but OK to continue
Game is being played at a frenetic pace a d Wolves are managing to dominate the midfield so far. Ugly challenge on Raul which the referee totally laughs at!! Traore goes on a run and is brought down 10 yds outside their area. Free kick ends up on Kidman’s head but clears the bar

Harrison is found in plenty of space on left wing but his shot is well wide when he could have crossed. Connor Coady gets flattened in the area by a shot but is OK
Raphinha intercepts a pass from Donk and shoots wide. They are very quick upfront and Wolves need to get to possession of the ball. Adama breaks and his pass to RAN gets us a corner, which is far too long!
We are playing a bit too deeply at the moment as Utd have more of the ball. Utd having lots of possession but lacking threat in the final 3rd - so far!!
Raul brought down again and let’s the ref know he’s getting fed up with it. Into the final minutes of 1st half. Leeds have done a lot of attacking but Wolves are well organised in defence. 1 added minute to play
It looked like RAN had given away a penalty but it proved to be a well timed tackle. Half time whistle goes and Wolves lead through a very well constructed and taken goal by Hwang after good work by CC, NS and Raul. An enjoyable game to watch with both teams attacking all the time. Wolves are well organised in defence and blunting Utd’s attack.
Leeds 0 Wolves 1
Welcome aboard Ivy. Tyler Roberts replaces Jack Harrison in Utd side as the teams come back out. No changes for Wolves yet, but I think we’ll see Neves replace Joao at some point with him being on a yellow card.
Raphinha shots from well outside the area but well wide. Great break into the area by RAN and his shot cannons off Meslier for a corner which Meslier punches away. Donk sells Kilman short with a pass and he has to foul and gets a yellow card.
Two quick Kilman and Saiss yellow cards will put us under pressure for the rest of the match. Other than that, a decent second half start, RAN looking up for it.
Elsewhere in the sporting world we’ve reduced West Indies to 55/9 in the 20:20
Adama sets up HCH but his shot is blocked, then Raul gets a shot away but it’s too soft. Meslier had to come out swiftly to get to it before Adama - just!!
Gelhardt gets another shot away but too high. Then DP goes up and gets a shot away taken by Meslier. Into final 5 minutes as Utd get another corner. Neves prepared to come in. Joao is down with cramp but continuing.
Neves on for Joao. Leeds get a cheap free kick just outside the box even though Summerville was pulling HCH’s shorts down!! DP breaks well after a good throw from Sa and earns a corner.into six added minutes
All over and it finishes in a draw because Wolves failed to add to their early advantage. A late penalty gives Leeds the point they probably deserved . A very good and exciting game to watch with plenty of attacking football particularly by Utd. Wolves we’re disappointing up front and Adama had a very quiet game.
But it is 10 points from a possible Qi so no complaints and keeps us in 10th place for now
Leeds 1 Wolves 1
Having missed the first half, it seems I missed the best of Wolves
Late drama for 2 away matches on the trot, this time going against us, however my word, that was all Leeds. we failed to get a sniff in that second half but I really thought wed hold on but unfortunately not.
Gerhardt made the difference, nobody wanted to put a tackle in on him …… well except Semedo
A draw is more than fair - a good point in the end I think

We seem to have reverted to the tactics of last season, sit back and hope for the best, we were lucky to come away with a point and on another day could have easily been rolled over. Very little to be pleased about in terms of our play today, couldn’t string more than four passes together, gave the ball away on a regular basis and barely tested their goalkeeper. If Leeds had been a little luckier we wouldn’t have the point we stole today. Our defence stood firm for the most part but against higher quality teams we will struggle unless something changes. Out run, out passed and out thought by the opposition today, a poor showing and a half term report on the manager looming.
Sat back way to much second half, but fair play to Leeds they never gave up and sadly I must admit they deserved something from the game. Leeds just seemed first to every ball second half and I thought we looked tired last half hour. Nevermind a point is better than none I would of settled for that before the game.
I've been taking in a wide range of opinions on this match, from all over the internet and an awful lot of fans seem to be complaining about 'our tactics' that 'let' Leeds grab a point, and I think many of them are doing Leeds a disservice. I don't think we let Leeds do anything, they did it al by themselves in the 2nd half. If Wolves had put in that last 45 minutes that Leeds did I am sure fans would be talking about the fight and commitment we shown, we would be moaning that Leeds should have been down to ten men, we would have been raving over Gerhardt being the next superstar striker and that we kept going to win a late penalty and salvage a point. It's a funny old game
