An important match for both managers but I'm at the stage where, if a loss means that GON departs it will almost feel like a victory.
Our club is in a sorry state and nothing but significant change will alter that so for heavens sake bite the bullet and get on with it.

It won't make any difference if he is sacked or not. Fosun confirmed there is next to nothing to spend in January and who in their right mind would want to come here and have a relegation on their cv.

Good finish from Doherty and that's about it.

Should of had 2 penalties didn't get them as usual but my God we are poor, sad to watch.

Yes we should have had another three VAR calls in our favour. Two penalties and more than just a hint of a foul in the build up for the Bowen goal.
That said, if we can't defend free kicks following the basics of marking your opponents we create our own problems. Zonal marking has never convinced me as effective.
Seeing the demise of our great club, yet again due to loss of interest by the owners, is heart breaking, whilst we call for a replacement manager, who on earth would the reigns of a club seemingly doomed to Championship football next season?
Whilst Fosun provided a taste of European football did they ever really understand the finances involved and required to consistently challenge for Europe season after season - clearly not. Look what Nuno has done at Forest with decent backing - no wonder he left maybe he could see what was developing.
Then COVID struck and provided Fosun with the get out excuse, so stripping the assets slowly but surely.
Thanks for memories Fosun now do the decent thing and sell the club sooner rather than later or plainly just waiting for the parachute money to swell your coffers.

Another very disappointing result. More and more in the mire and Ipswich up next.

Discipline seems to have gone. I've seen the video of Lemina in a shoving altercation at the end of the match with one of the coaches, I think it's Shaun Derry, and being led away by some of the players. And he's the frigging captain. Not a good look.
