Today Wolves host Everton at Molineux—a fixture rich in tradition. Both teams arrive on the back of spirited victories in the League Cup second round, injecting a welcome dose of confidence into their camps. Wolves will be particularly buoyed by a thrilling midweek display against West Ham United, a match with late drama. The standout was undoubtedly Strand Larsen, whose introduction as a second-half late brace turned the game around and showcased the his impact on Wolves. Will he stay? I think so
Wolves enter today’s match still searching for their first Premier League points of the season. Defensive frailties have been a concern, and it’s no secret that tightening up at the back is a top priority. Wolves’ new signing, Ladislav Krejci— centre-half who can also operate in midfield—has been brought in to bolster things up, whether he’s in the squad today remains to be seen.
Everton, meanwhile, have experienced a mixed start to their new campaign, having won one league fixture and lost another. Last weekend’s scenes at their new ground, Hill Dickinson Stadium, were nothing short of jubilant, with supporters celebrating a memorable opening in impressive surroundings.
As for today’s encounter, let’s hope both sides have a go! Wolves, in particular, will be desperate to claim their first points and get going. Here’s to a good match, two committed teams, and everything crossed for a Wolves win—we really need it! Anyway, I’ll be travelling up is less than half an hour!

Wrong starting line up for me, vitor got it totally wrong and not for the first time.
We looked a lot better when the subs came on, but why wait till we are 3-1 down.
Defence looks all over the place again, all of a sudden the manager has trust in santi Bueno?
He wasn't the worst defender though, agbadou had another stinker of a game, what the hell has happened to him?
Vitor has earned some time but his team selection was baffling today.
Looks like it's going to be a similar terrible start to the season like last season, maybe we won't be so lucky playing catch up this time.
I think we all saw today larsen can't be sold, we looked so light up front.

Wolves have been dog @#$%& for years, you can see how it will pan out. The manager will probably be sacked around xmas time, new guy comes in needing to perform a miracle to keep us up and the whole sorry saga begins again only to be repeated in the future. It's incredibly boring/tedious and certainly not worth bothering about contrary to years gone by. There's no end game to it all, just rinse and repeat every year.

Good finish by Hwang from a good cross from Munetsi. Those are the positives done with. Doherty has been our best defender so far and he's dropped. Admittedly the way Agbadou and Toti are playing he hasn't had much competition. Yet to see Arias show anything to prove the reputation he came with. As for Munetsi, apart from the cross, which I have given him credit for, will someone on here, whether it's Ivy, Lupy, Angry, Essington or someone else, tell me how this llama foot gets in the forward line. And Vitor will not take him off. He's Championship level, and I'm being kind. When he makes a change in attack he puts him into midfield and then when he changes the midfield he puts him back in the forward line. I tell you there's something going on with those two. People blame Fosun, who may well have made mistakes, but these things are down to Vitor. Lopez and Rodrigo looked ok when they came on and surely Lopez has to start. I'm not confident in this 3-4-3 system either. I'd like to see us with three in midfield and two up, like we did under Nuno. Krejci and Aronodare had better be good because if they're not I fear for this season, even at this early stage. When we've been in trouble in previous seasons we've had player like Neves, Neto, Cunha, Ait-Nouri. We've got no-one anywhere near that level now.

I agree with your views Andy, the team don't look as if they have ever played together and playing individual players out of position doesn't help ie Munetsi the ever present!!!
We often accused GON of trying to put square pegs in round holes but VP seems to be guilty of doing the same and apart from the occasional 3 or 4 minute per match when they actually string a few passes together it's failing badly.
I already fear the worst for this season.

Munetsi Andy, it is becoming a mystery, Ive always credited him for his positional sense, but yesterday, not sure what was going on …. Apart from that cross. If he could finish we’d be having a different conversation, but he’s a touch profligate!
What surprised me about yesterday was we actually scored twice, both decent goals but the scoreline flattered.
Gomes and Andre worked hard, but overall the lack of drive throughout the side was worrying. At 1-3 down it was such poor stuff, no ideas of how to attack. Rodrigo and Lopez did add life and it is sad that their cameo efforts probably made them the best two Wolves players on the day.
As for Toti and Agbadou, dear oh dear. I know it’s only one match but Arias was unimpressive, never looked up when on the ball.
I can’t decide whether the international break is a good thing or not, however on yesterday’s evidence we largely looked like a side in big trouble.
One big positive from the day is that I met up with friends and family of Cheshire Wolf who are Evertonians, always a pleasure. As you might imagine, they are happier than the average Wolves supporter at present.
