When will the pain end? This season already feels like it’s lasted a lifetime. Winless Wolves, that’s what the media are dubbing our club and the truth hurts. Wolves are in London this afternoon versus Fulham for Wanderers second six pointer in a row. Had Wolves won last weekend they would have this match to draw level on points with the Cottagers, instead Old Gold fans were treated to a first half horror show versus The Clarets and a bite to the neck at the death of the 90 minutes. That result means a loss today would leave Wolves a minimum of eight points from safety, and for a side amassing just two points from nine games, well everyone can do the maths on that.
If there any positives, Wolves have been involved with two entertaining and often frantic fixtures in this last week – good for the neutrals, agonizing for Wolves supporters. Wolves dominated second halves against both Burnley and Chelsea but if any team defends like Wolves, then you are fighting an uphill struggle. Still, the unseemly scenes at full time last weekend were replaced by solid, loyal and vociferous support from the Molineux faithful midweek. It would be terrific to reward the support with three points, but we’ve been saying and praying for the same thing since 26th April. Apparently, Wolves are on of only two clubs without a win in the top seven division of English football, the other? Stamford in the Southern League Premier Central Division. WFT!
All is not lost though, should we fail to win today, that matches our ten match winless streak under Gary O’Neil just 12 months ago. Déjà vu all over again. Also, we have a fairly good record versus Fulham in the premier league, W8 D6 L4 and we won there 4-1 last year. Fulham’s form is poor at the moment having lost the last four games to Villa, Arsenal, Bournemouth and Newcastle, even so, that still compares favourably to 13 matches without a league win.
Vitor has an issue with team choice, I’m sure he knows who he’ll pick (with any luck), though many Wolves fans will probably wait for the team sheet rather than guessing! I’m not entirely clear what Pereira learnt from 11 changes for the League Cup match, it just added more confusion as to who might be our best starting lineup because we were as poor in the first half midweek as the first half in the previous match. Second hand revivals in both games will hopefully provide a bit of confidence of what might or could be. Bellegarde had a decent match again v Chelsea after he came on, Wolfe played well and Kolu found the back of the net.
The Fulham squad contains two terrific ex-Wolves servants, Adama and Raul, and even though ex-players tend to hurt us on the pitch, it would be great to see them play and pit their wits against our current crop. Good luck to them, but not this afternoon.
The game will kick off at 3pm at Craven Cottage, a lovely football ground, one of five 3pm premier league kick offs today, seemingly becoming increasingly unusual. I’ll be attempting to follow the match as best I can and encourage comments from all Molineux Way followers. Perhaps this IS the day?
C’mon Wolves, change our fortunes, don’t leave it too late today. We need this win; Vitor needs this win as do the club as a whole. Good luck to them, just three points, that’s all we ask.
UTW!!

Keeping the faith is becoming a very unrewarding trait but I will continue.
As they say "it's the hope that kills you".
We have lost 7 points this season by conceding in the last 5 minutes so stopping that would be a start!!
Best 2 players at the club Andre and Gomes on the bench.
This clown managing the team has really lost the plot.
Lose today again, for the love of God get Rid.
No wonder the players look lost, chopping and changing all the time.
I'm a believer in playing you're strongest team, No way this is it.
Hope im wrong but think we are in for a long afternoon of desperate football again.
Ridiculous wholesale changes- is he doing this on purpose?
Some of the squad (if not all) must be completely bemused.
Andre and Gomes, our two best midfielders benched, wow and good luck with that.
As you say Andy, no Joao or Andre. Andre looked really hacked off and down the tunnel when he was subbed, so maybe a bit of punishment from Vitor. It’s just impossible to predict the starting XI these days, so another throw of the dice again. Can’t understand how Hoever gets in the team however. More Ho-amya.
Wolves XI: Johnstone, Hoever, Agbadou, S Bueno, Toti, H Bueno, Krejci, Munetsi, Bellegarde, Arias, Strand Larsen.
Agbadou gets red sliding into King. VAR review going on.
It could be handball in the lead up.
Looked like handball but V AR rule not, Agbadou gets his marching orders. I think that is a bad decision from VAR but we are down to 10 players. Here we go again, 40 minutes gone
Poor challenge from agbadou for the sending off but he should of been saved by an handball against the Fulham player.
But we have been awful with 11 players on the pitch anyway.
The fat lady is certainly singing now.
Players look lost we need a change but its to late anyway, 8 points adrift tonight by look of it.
I thought we were playing tomorrow, seems like it is going as expected. Fair play to those hunched over the laptop each week desperately clicking close on pop up ads to watch this turgid sh*te each week.
It’s been coming, the pressure pays off, Harry Wilson scores from the edge of the box, Johnstone had no chance at all. Good finish, finishes Wolves in this matches.
We are being cast adrift at the bottom.
Wolves fans giving our side incredibly noisy and positive support. Credit to them all.
All the old songs coming out, SEB, Neves, I think I heard one for Jimenez?! Now back to the more contemporary we want Fosun out and sacked in the morning.
Another good diving stop from Johnstone from Harry Wilson.
Fulham hit the post after dire defending from Munetsi who fell asleep at the wheel. Lucky it isn’t four. Shortly after Johnstone makes a terrific save to prevent the forth
Exciting! We have a free kick on the edge of the box.
Tolu tamely hits it into the wall.
Final whistle, Fulham 3-0 Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Vitor Pereira looks a forlorn and lonely man as he walks onto the pitch. To be fair he and the team have gone to the fans to thank them for their support but sacked in the morning and not fit to wear the shirt ring outs from the stand.
Horrendous, sad, pathetic, call it what you want, we do not have the luxury of three dreadful sides in the league this year. We are premier league cannon fodder.
Could that be the end of the Pereira? I think so.

What a load of b0ll0cks. The starting line-up was b0ll0cks, the performance was b0ll0cks. It's not even 'if' we go down, just 'when'. And when we do we won't be bringing in the likes of Neves and Jota next time and this lot won't get us back up. B0ll0cks.
I wonder who was "loopy" enough t make such a prediction It could be worse, we could have the Southampton manager in charge Still who has them 21st in the championship. Surely no one wants him to replace VP
It won't matter if vitor is sacked and I think he should be.
Sooty and his wand couldn't magic a team out of this Squad of utter Garbage!
And I didn't go for a wolves win either by the way.
We will soon see, the felon responsible will not have their points tally updated by 1. I doubt anyone got the 3-0 ( 3 points) and predicting a draw is almost as daft. We have possibly the worst team in premier league history and may break the record number of lowest points ever achieved.

Predicting a draw, sadly that was f*cking me. I'll be sacked in the morning.

And by the way, from my intro, Stamford got an away 3-1 win at Stourbridge today. Wolves are now the only club in the top 7 English leagues without a win.
