Match Thread: Wolves v Brentford 20.12.25 KO 3pm
Shi fell over

Jeff Shi finally gets the boot, likely several years too late, but there you go, he's apologised for the transfer market business, so all is well. Nathan Shi (no relation) comes in to take his place, no idea what his credentials are, but let's not worry about that!
Wolves play Brentford at Molineux this weekend, kick off time 3pm. They will be tough opposition, but who isn't, though after one of the more positive Wolves performances versus Arsenal last Saturday evening, perhaps they're might even be some expectation in the crowd? Score a goal, working hard, maybe get a point or three? Dreaming is for free.
Anyway, as always I wish them well, they worked their socks off at The Emirates, ultimately for nothing, but they deserved a draw in my book.
Apologies, this is another short introduction due to family commitments and also the fact that I will be in the North Bank upper tomorrow afternoon, and at this moment, looking forward to seeing the Old Gold. Madness? Not a bit of it.
Please leave your thoughts and comments in the thread below, it just leaves me to wish one and all the best Christmas possible.
Up The Wolves!

" The definition of insanity is keep doing the same thing and expecting a different result". That said we have replaced Shi with Shi so understandable many thought it would be dawn of a new era with the..changes.
On a positive note, the fattened calf awaiting sacrifice to celebrate a win in the centre circle is still alive awaiting the Shrewsbury game

I would ship most of this team out in january if someone is daft enough to take them, I would rather watch the kids than this pathetic bunch.
Not that it matters but it was the wrong team today from the start.
Tolu and mane deserved to start and dont get me started on chan and Hoever, they wouldn't be nowhere near the starting lineup.
Haven't these players of ours got no shame, you would think they would at least try.
That's the rant over, merry Christmas everyone if thats possible being a long suffering wolves fan.
Andy and Ivy in the bottom 2 predicting a Wolves win and seeing the final score.
Sorry gentlemen, but if you don't laugh you'd cry. The season is beyond bad, it's a parodyQuote:I didn't predict a Wolves win. I went 2-1 Brentford and if it wasn't for that pi55 poor penalty from Strand Larsen it would have been right.
Second half Brentford come out looking for a goal, the rest was inevitable. How poor was that Larsen penalty, a lot of pressure for sure, but ultimately he wasn’t up to the challenge. Very sad. I just sat there, quietly in full expectation it would be missed.
The 1877 protest against Fosun was very audible, particularly the South Bonk, otherwise some excellent support in the face of adversity. Overall the experience was pretty grim, Molineux very empty at full time. Seriously one of the worst / poorest performances I have witnessed from a Wolves side for many years, these players haven’t a clue how to be in a team.
Did anyone see the post match interview with Doherty? I recommend it, he pulled no punches, a player who really cares.
As a postscript, I did enjoy with the usual pre match drink in The Combermere and managed to drop into Holdens brewery for me Christmas booze.
Finally I’ll update the score on the prediction league in a bit.
