Wolves face Manchester United tonight, for the second of two December 2025 meetings. After the Molineux edition, it feels very ominous, and with good reason, with there will be few Wolves fans thinking we'll get anything out of the fixture.
Readers of the Molineux Way, I have emulated the efforts of our football team and after spending a bit of time on tonight's front page for this thread, I've managed to delete the whole thing at the final whistle as I pressed publish. An almighty own goal that Rob Edwards would be proud of and would likely defend in a post publication press conference. He would have been pleased with my efforts, I've put a fair bit of thought on the training ground over the past few days, just I couldn't deliver when the whistle blew. It was a humerous ditty of a background of Wolves v Manchester United, documented more potential records to be broken today, reflected on recent better away performances, commented of the apparent lack of effort from Fosun and that the honeymoon is well and truly is over for Rob Edwards ... and that he may lament his departure from Boro, where I then resurrected it's nickname 'Ironopolis'. I even commented on the lack of bargaining power Wolves had heading to the opening of the transfer window and how boring it has become.
Yes, it was a great piece, even though I say so myself ...... but in true Wolverhampton Wanderers style, I lost it. Apologies, but it doesn't really matter does it, we're still gooin' down!
Hey ho, wherever you watch, follow (or don't) or listen to the match, as ever I wish the team good luck.
I also wish you a happy new year, let's hope there is a little more cheer and maybe a smile or two in 2026, albeit in the championship!

23 minutes gone and we are doing ok whatever the final score is even if 6-0? lol. We will agree to disagree. The players should all have their contracts cancelled and never play professional football again as far as I'm concerned. Crap teams often get to HT at 0-0 , even league 2 teams could go to Old Trafford at do that.
An ffing heavily deflected shot by Zirkzee hits the back of the net. Sa could do nothing, very unfortunate indeed, deflected off Kreijci. Hwang guilty of losing the ball cheaply, other than that he's played alright.
The goal is a bit typical as it was against the run.

I thought we had the better chances and the least we deserved was a draw.
Still no win, decent performance but all to little all to late but at least we are creating more chances just got to put a few away.
