Wolves play their second and final match of March 2026 tonight, away at 7th placed Brentford, with the next game in this fixture madness well over three weeks away Friday 10th April versus West Ham. The cogs continue to grind this season, and should Wolves fail to win, that will be another three sides we can tick off as mathematically impossible to catch, Palace, Sunderland and Brighton. However, let’s have a little be of a high note following with back-to-back league wins chalked up with the Liverpool and Villa victories. Wolves are down but can still mess up a few clubs’ aims and desires! Against this backdrop, Wolves have revealed this week that there will be significant drops in season ticket prices for 2026/27 (over 25%) and will make additional reductions in general sales, the precise figures yet to be announced. Could they have done anything different? It’s the minimum.
Wolves have not beaten Brentford since December 2023 when Nathan Collins forget he had been transferred to Brentford, aiding Wolves to a 4-1 away win. The intervening period has been gloomy, and the Molineux encounter last December was an atrocious Wanderers display with Brentford destroying us in all but score line …. Finishing just 2-0 to the Londoners. On top of that, last season Wolves were pummeled at Brentford 5-3, and should the Bees find victory tonight they will sit just one point behind Chelsea and two behind Liverpool with eight games to go. Keith Andrews, ex Wolves of course, has continued to do a very good job at Brentford since the departure of Thomas Frank and so he won’t be at all sentimental in his search for a win tonight.
After the 10-day break in a fixture, Wolves are underdogs again, though in irony, should they gain maximum points this evening they will be the first team to win three consecutive matches whilst occupying the bottom league position since the Leicester City great escape with Nigel Pearson in 2015!
The kick off this evening is at 8pm and covered live by Sky. Do we ever win on a Monday night?
Good luck to the whole team tonight, maybe Adam Armstrong could get close to scoring, his endeavours certainly deserve one. Will Rodrigo get the call up this evening for a starting position, surely it is time to give him a go from the off? Other than that, wholesale changes in the starting eleven seem very unlikely.

No Rodrigo or Toti or Tolu in the starting line up. No Johnstone on the bench, that's interesting.

Nice to see Armstrong get a goal he has deserved it, and unlucky with the shot that came back off the post.
We had the better of the 2nd half with tolu getting the leveler and then crashing an header against the bar, how's your luck.
A little disappointed we havent got our first win away I thought our 2nd half performance deserved it.
To little to late but at least we are showing some fight.
Second half we were so competitive, Armstrong and Tolu hitting the post and of course the Tolu equaliser. We really took the match to them and thoroughly deserved the point.
We’ve had it of course, but nice to see a belated upturn in effort and form. What a shame these lot couldn’t do it pre Christmas.
Next up is West Ham on 10th April.
