UNDER-FIRE Wolves Manager Dave Jones has said that he is pleased that Wolves now have a two-week break after losing to Ipswich 2-1 at Portman Road.

UNDER-FIRE Wolves Manager Dave Jones has said that he is pleased that Wolves now have a two-week break after losing to Ipswich 2-1 at Portman Road.
Wolves are still without a league win this season after losing away at Ipswich Town to a Darren Bent goal and a Tommy Miller penalty. Wolves midfielder Seyi George Olfinjana grabbed one back for Wolves, but it was nothing more than a mere consolation.
Jones has been under slight pressure from a small section of the Wolves faithful for a few weeks, but the small section appears to be growing fast as Wolves sit just one point above the bottom of the league, ten points behind current leaders Wigan Athletic.
Jones was unhappy with the performance again
today, blaming sloppy defending for both the Ipswich Town goals "Before Ipswich opened the scoring we should have gone ahead but after that there were too many sloppy passes and, realistically, over the 90 minutes we didn't do enough to pinch it. Their first goal was a bad one to give away. We should have dealt with it better.
"As for the penalty, you can't pull a player like that. But the ball shouldn't have been in the box in the first place. The play between the full-back and the centre-half was unacceptable."
Said Jones.
Wolves now have a two-week break in which new £1.5M signing Seol will be able to meet his new team-mates. Former Everton striker Bakayoko is also expected to join the squad for the remainder of this season before Wolves take on Wigan is what is now a 'must win' game at Molineux.
"I'm happy to have a break. Hopefully we can get some competition for places soon. When we do come back they (the current team) have made it easy for me to make changes." Said a far from happy Dave Jones.
