THE FIVE Hundred Wolves Fans who were crammed in the temporary seating at the Withdean Stadium last night had the ticket to a piece of History. This was Wolves first league away win for 15 months and the first time Wolves had beaten Brighton in a league game at Brighton.......Ever!

This win was massive. Not only for the fans, but for the manager. Dave Jones will feel a huge weight of pressure lifted off his shoulders when he wakes up this morning as his Wolves side won a league game away from home for the first time since the 3-0 demolition of Norwich City in April 2003.

It wasn't the prettiest of performances, but it was one so very badly needed. Going to places like the Withdean isn't easy and fantastic performances from away sides are rarely seen, so this performance showed the character that has been lacking thus far this season. Wolves had to dig in deep, attack with menace and keep the back door shut, something they did perfectly.

It was Kenny Miller's sixth goal in 8 eight league games and the young Scot has already flew past his tally for the last season. Miller nodded a Seol cross past the Brighton 'Keeper from close range and should have made it two late on, but his shot he miss-hit his shot, sending the ball for a throw.

Wolves used this fixture to kick start their season two years ago and hopefully history can repeat itself.
