WOLVES Manager Dave Jones is on the verge of the sack after his Wolves side failed to beat Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Friday. Andy Reid scored the only goal of the game, and Wolves missed yet another penalty!

WOLVES Manager Dave Jones is on the verge of the sack after his Wolves side failed to beat Nottingham Forest at the City Ground on Friday. Andy Reid scored the only goal of the game, and Wolves missed yet another penalty!
Jones opted to make five changed from the team which lost to West Ham before the International break.
Kevin Cooper started for the first time in 18 months, Keith Andrews replaces Seyi Olofinjana, Keith Lowe replaced Mark Clyde, Bischoff replaced Jody Craddock, Kennedy replaced Lee Naylor and Kevin Cooper replaced South Korean International Ki Hyeun Seol.
It was a game Wolves needed to win and was the first of a four-match acid test for manager Jones. The Wolves boss has been told he must get nine points from four games, so losing in the first of his four game test could see the end of his managerial reign at Molineux.
"We were given gilt edged opportunities and you've got to take those," Said Jones after Shaun Newton missed from the spot after Andy Reid had been given his marching orders for felling Kevin Cooper early in the second half.
"That's some record we've got with penalties now and it's frustrating. You can't take them for them and when you see them do it time after time on the training ground then you wonder what's going wrong."
Kenny Miller missed a sitter for Wolves after just ten minutes. The Scotland International side-footed the ball to the arms of Gerrard from 5 yards, when scoring looked easier.
"It was wide open in the first half and we had plenty of chances to get back in it but they weren't taken. If anything, we should have gone 1-0 up when Kenny had a chance and then we fell asleep for the goal and you can't do that. If we'd have scored the penalty then I think we could have gone on and won the game."
Wolves now sit dangerously close to the relegation zone. The men from Molineux were favourites for promotion at the start of the season...
