WOLVES showed their 'bouncebackability' at a wet Molineux Stadium on Saturday. After a poor start to the season, Carl Cort smashed home a goal either side of the break to break some blue and white QPR hearts.

WOLVES showed their 'bouncebackability' at a wet Molineux Stadium on Saturday. After a poor start to the season, Carl Cort smashed home a goal either side of the break to break some blue and white QPR hearts.
This was the sort of performance Wolves Fans had expected from day one of this Championship season. It was a performance which puts the previous 14 performances in their pathetic perspective.
Wolves Striker Carl Cort showed the form which he found towards the end of last season, whilst Olofinjana, Colin Cameron, Mark Kennedy and Keith Lowe put in their best performances of the season so far. Kenny Miller was also having a good game, but frustration got the better of the young Scot who was sent off after 73 minutes for two yellow cards.
Carl Cort headed Wolves into the lead after 22 minutes when he headed a superb Cooper cross past the helpless hoops goalkeeper.
Wolves could have doubled their lead on several occasions with Cort, Miller and Olofinjana all going close, but on 70 minutes Wolves finally deservedly doubled their lead.
Nigerian International Olofinjana played a superb ball through the QPR defence and Carl Cort neatly finished from eight yards.
Kevin Gallen scored a nice goal for the visitors in the last minute, but this was a performance Wolves need to replicate if they are to save the season.
