Wolves piled on the misery for Championship strugglers Nottingham Forest with a 2-1 victory at Molineux.
Forest, who went into this game sitting in the bottom three after only two wins from 17 games, this week described as "pure nonsense" reports manager Joe Kinnear was to move upstairs in a director of football role and be replaced by Mick Harford.
The Luton first-team coach has, though, joined the club as assistant manager.
He will need to make a major impact if the club is to pull themselves out of trouble, with this defeat meaning they remain winless on their travels. Danish defender Mikkel Bischoff scored his first goal for managerless Wolves to hand them their third successive home league win.
The 22-year-old, on loan from Manchester City, headed home from Colin Cameron's corner to put managerless Wolves ahead for the second time two minutes before the break.

David Johnson had scored for the second game in a row to put Forest on level terms.
The pacy striker, who netted as Forest fought back from 2-0 down at home to Rotherham to draw 2-2 in midweek, equalised in the 25th minute from close range after Wes Morgan had knocked down Andy Reid's corner.
Wolves had opened the scoring in the 19th minute through Kevin Cooper's penalty.
Forest defender Michael Dawson, a target of Newcastle ahead of the January transfer window, hauled down Carl Cort and Cooper converted.
Having fallen behind, Forest - who started the day in the bottom three - hit back well.
Marlon King had a great chance to give Forest the lead just after the half-hour but he put his effort wide with only goalkeeper Michael Oakes to beat.
Johnson eventually levelled but Wolves responded quickly, Gerrard producing another fine save to deny Kenny Miller before Bischoff struck.
Wolves went close to going further ahead seven minutes after the break when Cort saw his header from Cooper's corner come back off the woodwork and, after Forest failed to clear the resulting corner, Seyi George Olofinjana drilled a shot wide from 25 yards.
Kris Commons was denied by Oakes as Forest tried to restore parity for a second time before Newton hit the frame of the goal for the second time in the match.
