THE Fans travel the width and length of the country. Wolves boast the most impressive average attendance in the Championship and the club sold out of the allowed 21,000 season tickets. WHY DO WE BOTHER?

There is nothing wrong with losing a football match to a better side and on the odd occasion fans can accept the side to be 'unlucky'. However Wolves Fans are slated in the press for not being as supportive as they perhaps could be when the going get's tough, yet reporters take in one or two games a season whilst Wolves Fans turn up week in, week out.
You'd think that the very least this most-expensive side outside the Premiership could give would be a bit of effort, a bit of determination and maybe, if we're lucky, a bit of pride.
However this is Wolves and once again we find ourselves asking why the players haven't even bothered. The winless manager, Glenn Hoddle said Wolves failed to have any "desire" in the pathetic 2-0 defeat to Wigan on Tuesday - yet the startling truth is that the player's couldn't care less.
They are paid more money than anyone else outside of the Premiership yet they fail to beat Crewe, Cardiff, Nottingham Forest, Stoke, Gillingham, need I go on?
Why should they bother? They were allowed to throw an eleven point lead to our arch rivals three years ago. They were gutless then and sadly, nothing has changed.
Where next? Relegation, probably.
