Another Draw As Wolves Throw It Away - Full Report

IF Wolves are not scoring last minute goals to win a draw, they are conceding goals to take that solitary point. The latter happened today at Coventry City.

Wolves boss Glenn Hoddle was left fuming after poor defending by South Korean ace Seol lead to Coventry City pinching a point from a game in which Wolves were poised to win.

An impressive following, considering the circumstances, of over 2,500 witnessed Wolves take an early lead at Highfield Road, the penultimate game at City's famous arena.

Leon Clarke gave Wolves the lead. The 18 year old starting for the injured Carl Cort. It was Lee Naylor who won another assist for the goal. His quick and well placed free kick was headed home by Clarke after 15 minutes, but the lead wasn't set to last.

Four minutes later Coventry were level. Following a mistake by Lescott the ball fell to City star McSheffrey who won, then converted a penalty after Lee Naylor had taken the wideman down in the area.

1-1 was the score at half-time whilst "we're sick of drawing one all was the chant". Luckily the final result was 1-1, sadly however it was still a draw.

Chances were few and far between in the second half and it wasn't until the 79th minute Wolves took the lead for the second time.

Lee Naylor it was who scored the goal, via a wicked deflection. The young full back cut inside and unleashed an effort which deflected off the unfortunate Staunton and into the back of the net.

However when Wolves are about, a draw is never far away. Seol's mistake on the half-way line gifted Coventry the ball and Stern John found the net after an impressive run into the box.

Hoddle was left fuming, whilst wolves sit just three draws away from becoming the most boring side in English Football history.
