Wolves agree fee but Rasiak deal is dead.

WOLVERHAMPTON Wanderers today agreed a fee with Derby County for Striker Grzegorz Rasiak, but the deal fell through to the annoyance of Wolves and Derby County.

After several weeks of negotiations it is believed that Wolves today agreed a £2M fee with Derby County for their striker Grzegorz Rasiak.

However reports claim that the deal is now dead after the Wolves and the player were unable to agree personal terms - despite Wolves having one of the largest pay structures outside the top flight.

The news was not only disappointing for Wolves, but also for Derby County who had eyed players up to buy with the money raised from the signing of Rasiak.

Wolves and Derby must now wait until January to do business again, but Rasiak must score a sack full of goals if Derby are expected to be offered the similar sort of money again.
