No creativity as Wolves stumble at home - again.

IT'S boring, it lacks imagination and it's bloody frustrating, but the way teams play at Molineux in this day and age is working. Ask Burnley Town, they won their first game at Molineux for 18 years last night.

Eleven men behind the ball, first to every 50/50, defending for their lives - it's getting a regular occurrence at Molineux. Millwall tried it two weeks ago and became the first side in 2005 to win at Molineux, Burnley tried it last night, they became the second.

Wolves seem to have stumbled upon an inability to break down a wall of resistance at home. Against Burnley last night the plan seemed basic. The passing again was swift and neat but the end product 80% of the time was to see the ball played into the area from a full back and for the move to break down.

Wolves lack creativity in the centre of the park. Wolves can't seem to find that killer through ball for the strikers to run on to or have that central based midfielder to create something at nothing.

This was clearly an area Hoddle thought Wolves needed to concentrate on. In came Darren Anderton, two weeks ago he left Molineux on crutches - was it worth it?

During the summer Wolves tried to prize Derby play maker Inigo Idiakez away from Derby yet Wolves wouldn't pay the asking price for a 32 year old deemed to be towards the end of his career.

However you can't help but wonder how different it would be had Idiakez been in gold last night. A midfielder is yet to score a league goals for Wolves this season whilst across the Midlands Idiakez is chalking them up.

A January move for Idiakez may have to be called for, in the meantime Wolves must learn how to play against the formation so popular amongst the visitors to Molineux.
