Carl Cort has written his letter to Santa early this year, and right at the top of his list of presents is full fitness. Cort, who is still the Chamionships joint 3rd highest scorer with 9 goals despite missing seven games, can't wait to get back into action.

Carl underwent knee surgery in October, and since then his presence up front has been sorely missed. So far, there is no set date for his return, but he is looking to the holiday period as the point he will be back in contention.

Speaking of his return date he said

"Its a bit difficult to say, but I would hope its no longer than 3 weeks from now before I am back in full training with the boys."

"Tomorrow it will be have been five weeks since I had the operation and things are progressing and looking good so I hope I am not too far off."

"I thought originally that I'd have been back by now but these things are unpredictable and we know its important to make sure that the knee is definately right before I get back into it."

"There are a lot of games over Christmas so I have got to make sure that I am definately right as it is a crucial time for us to make sure we pick up the points that we realy need."
