MATCH PREVIEW: Coventry Vs Wolves -WOLVES travel to Coventry and the Richo Arena on Monday for what is the final game of the busy Christmas schedule. Three points is vital.

Wolves boss Glenn Hoddle wanted "nine or ten" points from this busy Christmas schedule. Wolves were faced up against league leaders Reading, Sheffield Wednesday and Plymouth Argyle. It's Coventry next and Wolves sit on a disappointing four points with seven points being the maximum target.

The Reading game was a non-event. The players simply failed to turn up, but the recent two games were much more encouraging. Goals from Darren Anderton and Kenny Miller ensured a comfortable win at Wednesday before Wolves totally dominated the game at home to Plymouth on Saturday.

Amazingly, despite playing some stunning Football which left Argyle boss Pulis declaring Wolves as "the best footballing side we have faced this year", Wolves missed a ridiculous amount of chances and even had to come from behind to earn a point.

That result means the game against Coventry in their nice new stadium is even more important. The Wolves boss was more interested in lambasting his own players for the inept effort in front of goal on Saturday than to look forward to this one, but had he have discussed the game he would have surly labelled it as a game Wolves must win.

It is currently unclear whether Hungarian International Denes Rosa has been given International Clearance in time to feature in the match, but with fellow Hungarian International Gabor Gyepes also needing international clearance to play as he today made his move a permanent one then Wolves will be desperately trying to push the paperwork through.

Tom Huddlestone plays his last game before negotiations start on extending his current loan deal until the end of the season and Carl Cort is still injured. Paul Ince, Lee Naylor, Rob Edwards and Vio Ganea could all however return to the starting line up.

Hoddle wanted nine or ten points from these four games, the most he can get is seven, a win at Coventry infront of their biggest crowd of the season would secure that.
