The Guardian Newspaper were the latest club to link Wolves with a bid of £1.3M for the Derby man but Wolves boss Glenn Hoddle said "We've made a bid of £600,000 but the Dons need to get realistic about his value, it's on the back burner".

Hoddle's need for a Striker increased after Wolves dominated the game away at Coventry on Saturday and failed to score a single goal, despite having over ten shots on target. The 2-0 defeat at the Richo Arena moved Wolves out of the play off places.
