Leicester Preview: No Debut For Aliadiere

WOLVES travel to the East Midlands on Saturday to play Leicester City in a game Wolves simply must win. New signing from Arsenal Jeremie Aliadiere has had his first day's training surrounded in controversy and won't play at the Walkers Stadium.

Wolves boss Glenn Hoddle has caused a stir in and around Molineux after deciding that Jeremie Aliadiere's debut will be made in two weeks time to enable the 22 year old to play in the play-offs at the end of the season. Wolves are only allowed the striker for 98 days, meaning if he plays against Leicester tomorrow he will not be able to play in the play-offs at the end of the season.

However some sections of fans are unhappy with the decision as they believe Wolves should play Aliadiere now, get into the play-offs and take his future from there. Currently Wolves sit six points from the play offs with qualification to the play offs looking less likely each week. The poor performance against Manchester United in the Cup last week didn't help either.

Better news for Wolves fans however is that 31 year old £1.5M signing Thomasz Frankowski is in line to make his first start for the club. Frankowski played the last 20 minutes of the game against Manchester United last week but Hoddle is set to start with his star man at the Walkers Stadium.

Matt Murray is still way off a first team game whilst McNamara is ruled out for the season. Mark Davies will also miss out with an ankle injury, but Hungarian International Denes Rosa could make the bench.

It's a game Wolves must win, if they don't Hoddle could b left to rue his decision to not use Aliadiere.
