Well what a load of crap!

WOLVES season has been plunged into disarray after the recent run of poor performances reached a new low. Fans chanted "We want Hoddle out" as Wolves went down 1-0 at Leicester City's Walkers Stadium on a cold Saturday afternoon at Molineux.

Wolves hopes of reaching the play-off places took a huge blow today after a gutless performance at Leicester City left Wolves a massive eight points off the play off places.

It was a game to forget as the 2,000 Wolves fans booed their side at the final whistle. It is often reported in the local media how fickle the supporters of Wolverhampton Wanderers are and Wolves fans have been known to get on the players backs easily, however the boo's today were justified as Glenn Hoddles side showed no passion, not effort and no commitment.

Of the 13 players used in todays game, only one can hold his head up high and claim he gave his all. At 38 Paul Ince is still the engine room in the Wolves side and it's alarming how much Wolves depend on the former England captain. Had it not have been for the Guvnor Wolves could have easily found themselves two or three down. Ince at times was the last defender and the furthest forward attacker, his work rate superb, but not one player came anywhere near reaching the captains desire.

Glenn Hoddle again opted to use his 4.3.3, with target man Carl Cort playing on the right flank, Kenny Miller playing on the left with new £1.5M signing and the smallest player on the pitch Thomasz Frankowski playing in the middle.

Seol disappeared from the side altogether whilst Rohan Ricketts came from nowhere to start in midfield. Mark Davies was injured and the growing annoyance and mystery into why Colin Cameron doesn't even feature in the squad is getting even more ridiculous.

Wolves failed to test Douglas in the Leicester goal at all in the first half. Balls to Frankowski were either played well past him or five foot above him whilst Kenny Miller had the look of a player who is set to leave at the end of the season.

The second half this afternoon was even worse than the first half and the only goal of the game came mid way through it. A ball played into the box was knocked towards Postma who failed to keep hold of the ball and former Walsall striker Matt Fryatt tucked home the loose ball.

The goal itself was Postma's fault, but the Dane had already saved well from Hume and Fryatt, so the rare mistake could be forgotton.

As the game petered out Wolves fans chanted "Hoddle for England", followed by "Hoddle for Leicester" and ended up by chanting "We want Hoddle out". Sacking Hoddle this week would be premature, but more performances like this one and the one year rolling contract may not have been such a bad idea.
