Will Wolves Ever Win A Penalty?
Took the last one

WILL Wolves ever win a penalty? I'm pretty sure everyone will remember the penalty farce Wolves had under former Manager Dave Jones in the early part of last season, but currently this season Wolves are yet to have one single effort from the spot.
The stats are quite staggering. Wolverhampton Wanderers are the only side in the football league not to have been awarded a penalty this season. Only Wolves and Portsmouth from the Football League have failed to score from the spot, but that was only because Pompy striker Todorov missed their only penalty to date.
Bournemouth from League one have bagged the most, with seven penalties scored whilst Gillingham and Hartlepool have score the least from that league, with one each.
In league two Darlington, Rochdale and Shrewsbury are the highest scorers, with six each, whilst six sides have just bagged one from the spot, however almost all of the six have seen spot kicks missed.
In the Premiership Bolton and Chelsea have scored four each, but Bolton could have scored five had Faddiga scored at Fratton Park last week. As is stated above, Portsmouth are yet to score a penalty but that's only down to the wasteful Todorov.
At home in the Championship Burnley have scored the most, with six goals and down at the bottom of the penalty table is Wolves who are the only side in England not to be awarded one.
So will Wolves ever win a penalty?
