The Managers Reaction - It's the fans fault.

"The crowd got to the players too much" was Glenn Hoddle's excuse for a Wolves performance deemed as "unacceptable" by the former England boss. The only positive note was the fact the Wolves boss failed to blame the pitch.

The poor pitch didn't help Wolves at Leicester a week ago and was included in Glenn Hoddle's post match excuses. Today Hoddle blamed the fans....whatever next.

It's true that Wolves fans, at times, don't help the players. However today the Wolves fans turned on their side in a first half deemed by club captain Mark Kennedy as one of the worst since he joined the club five years ago. Was Hoddle really surprised the fans were unhappy?

"We were hesitant and perhaps the crowd got to the players too much," Said Hoddle. "Anxiety in the last third is affecting our shooting."

The Wolves boss gave a first start to Hungarian International Denes Rosa who put in a man of the match performance, but Wolves Manager believed Rosa only played well beacause he was "immune" to the pressue Wolves Fans put on the players.

"I thought Denes had an excellent game." Hoddle added. "He was a diamond in there. But then he hasn't been here that long and doesn't yet understand about the pressures. That says something about how you can play when you haven't got that on your back."

Hoddle claimed Wolves were realistic title contenders at the start of the season. Tonight Wolves sit 9 points from the Play Offs which was described as the "minimum requirement" in August. Still, it's all the fans fault.
