ICC's 'Management Team' - Root cause of bias

The ICC's biased policies against India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka (and in favour of Australia and England) has been obvious to most observant cricket fans.

To find an explanation for this, one only needs to look into the constitution of the ICC's staff. If you read the ICC website, the so-called 'ICC Management Team' has 4 Aussies and 3 Englishmen, but not a single representative from India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.

Of course President Percy Sonn is just a puppet, just like his predecessor Ehsan Mani. Even the various committees that are set up from time to time are powerless; the real control of the ICC is with the management team, who are mostly Aussies and Englishmen (as can be seen from the link above).

In light of the ICC's biased policies, I think it is quite appropriate to ask the following questions:

• Who appointed these people on the ' management team' and on what basis?
• Why is there virtually zero representation from Asian countries? And I don't believe there are not enough adequately qualified people in these countries.
• Why should Aussies and Englishmen enjoy total control within the ICC, especially when 80% of the ICC's money comes from Asia, and in particular India?

The double standards will end only when the Indian, Pakistan, Sri Lankan cricket boards and media wake up, ask these questions, and take action to set things right.

Until then, players of these countries will continue to be treated like second-class citizens by umpires and match referees. Today it's Hair, Bucknor, Proctor, Broad, etc... tomorrow it will be someone else.
