Rest of India Squad Announced For Irani Trophy

The Irani Trophy will be the culmination of the first class season 2015-16, and the BCCI selectors, several of whom were present at the Ranji Finals have picked an exciting squad, that has a nice balance of pace and spin. Interesting to note that Naman Ohja has been given the responsibility of captaining the side. Does this indicate that the selectors are thinking of him as a long term replacement for Dhoni in the longest format of the game?
Rest of India team announced for Irani Cup 2016
The All-India National Selection Committee met on Friday and announced the Rest of India team for Paytm Z.R. Irani Cup, 2016.
The Rest of India team will play against Mumbai, the Paytm Ranji Trophy 2015-16 champions, at the Cricket Club of India, Brabourne Stadium, Mumbai from the 6th of March to the 10th of March 2016.
Rest of India (RoI) Team: KS Bharat, Faiz Fazal, Karun Nair, Sheldon Jackson, Naman Ojha (Captain), Stuart Binny, Shahbaz Nadeem, Jayant Yadav, Nathu Singh, Jaydev Unadkat, Barinder Sran, Krishna Das, Sudeep Chatterjee, Ian Dev Singh, Akshay Wakhare.

I doubt Rahane or Rohit will be available...
Don't know what Krishna Das and Rajpoot are doing in the side... would have been interesting if they picked Barinder Sran and Nathu Singh instead...
That is an amazing comeback - conceding close to 300 runs in first innings and then winning.
Looking at ROI second innings , everybody contributed and that too at a good clip.
Scoring 482 runs in 4th innings out of which 382 runs were scored on 5th day - that is an excellent effort.
The lack of a true spinning option to partner Iqbal Abdulla and the apparent injury to Thakur also dented Mumbai's chances...
In the old days... Mumbai also used to intimidate by their attitude...nowadays players from all over are not in awe of Mumbai...
