Not only that but he also has a 50+ average in every format. He now legitimately can be compared to all time greats like Sachin Tendulkar and Sir Vivian Richards. And the best thing about his performance is that he has been doing it while leading India in all three formats... that is unprecedented... we tip our collective hats to you sir.... take a well deserved bow.

4th double century in 4th consecutive series. First batsman in history of Cricket to do so! Not even Bradman did it.

Bradman did score Six double centuries in the three consecutive series.. including 2 doubles and a triple in ONE series....
So let's not get carried away...but yes it is a tremendous achievement...
What I am more impressed by is that he has scored all 4 of his double centuries after becoming captain in the span of 25 innings... That shows captaincy is having a POSITIVE impact on his batting... that bodes well

I see. Even though Virat is first batsman to do so - that Bradman's record is something else.
