The Bluebirds kick-off the new Championship season at Oakwell on Saturday, with some 1,500 City supporters expected to travel to Yorkshire. Michael Chopra and Stephen McPhail will be amongst those making their senior debuts as Dave Jones' men look to get off to the perfect start.

The new Championship season is upon us with the Bluebirds set to travel to Barnsley on Saturday.

Michael Chopra and Stephen McPhail will both return to Oakwell as City take on the side who beat the Jacks to clinch promotion back into the Championship last season. However, Chris Barker misses the return to his former club with a hamstring injury, and Kevin Cooper is also suffering with injury.

Kerrea Gilbert, Kevin McNaughton, Willo Flood and Kevin Campbell are all in contention to make their City debuts as 1,500 Bluebird supporters travel to Oakwell.
