Josh Low officially completed his move to Oldham today. The transfer was agreed last week, but City made Oldham wait until today before officially unveiling him so that he couldn't play against us on the weekend.

The Latics believe that Low will offer them greater quality on the right.

"I'm not going to pretend to be the oracle and say I'll get the best out of him, but we're going to work hard with him and hopefully we can make him the player I always thought he could be," said Oldham boss Iain Dowie.

"Josh has got to restart his career - he knows that. You'll have to ask Lennie (Lawrence) what happened to him at Cardiff. That's nothing to do with me.

"But I think Josh coming here is our good fortune. I think he'll be a threat and I think he's a decent acquisition for us. He will definitely bring something extra to our squad."

Oldham confirmed that a 30% future signing on fee has been agreed as part of the deal.

Meanwhile, as one leaves another comes in. Ryan Green has signed a one-month contract at Ninian Park. Lawrence is a keen fan of the midfielder and wants four weeks to look at him.

Green, who made 20 first team appearances for Millwall last season, will probably play for the reserves on Wednesday against Cambridge United.
