Battling Hoops snatch points....

It was not pretty and in the end it was a big disappointment. Cardiff City slumped to a home defeat as John Gregory's hard working team took home all the points....

The first home league defeat of the season  for the Bluebirds in a Sky horror show. QPR substitute Ray Jones slid in to score a close range goal two minutes from the end. 

Nick Ward beat Joe Ledley and Kevin McNaughton before crossing to Jones who stabbed the ball in.

Cardiff City manager Dave Jones admitted his side were not up to it at a wet Ninian Park - 
"They came to do a job and they have taken away the points. If you are not going to win then you have to make sure you do not lose. I have no complaints, because we started poorly and finished poorly, and there were not enough attempts on goal. They got the goal without any sustained pressure. It was bad defending on our part."
