Thre goals in five second half minutes by StokeCity sent Cardiff City home with no points as their dreadful run of form continues. After a goodfirst half the team were ripped apart in devastating fashion on the hour mark, and there was no coming back!

Cardiff City have lost their top slot and after being six points clear only three weeks ago, an appalling run of results has seen them overtaken and the chasing pack swallow them up. A winagainst Colchester United on Saturday is vital to keep things ticking over, otherwise the slide could turn into an avalanche.

At Stoke the team lined up as it had against Sheffield Wednesday and really should have beenone up at half time but the once deadly MichaelChopra again missed a good chance and it was level at half time. The sedond half was all Stoke and they were full value for their win.

For the record Stoke City Goals were scored by : Fuller 60, Lawrence 63, Sidibe 65.

Cardiff City lined up as follows : Alexander, McNaughton, Purse, Johnson, Wright, Ledley (Kamara 66), Scimeca, McPhail, Parry, Chopra, Thompson (Campbell 75).
Subs Not Used: Howard, Cooper, Gunter.

Sent Off: McPhail (85). - he now faces a three match ban.

Booked: Thompson, Chopra.
