Cardiff City - the takeover problems......

Nobody outside the few people involved know the full extent of what is going onbut one thing is for sure the name of Cardiff City is once agin being dragged through the mud! The triumphant entry of the Hedge Fund investors hasn't yet gone through and Sam allegedly wants more talks....

The local media, as always, have gone to town on anything CCFC related and this week alone we've had multiple stories of the takeover being halted, massive injections of cash, no injections of cash and even mention of administration! All a far cry from Peter Ridsdale's glowing statement of a few weeks ago. It is apparent that there are problems now both on and off the pitch and David Jones may have more to moan about in the near future!

The season is in real danger of completely coming off the rails, in what is the poorest Championship for years a promotion challenge was beginning to look possible, but recent results suggest otherwise. It is only half way through the season but the squad needs re-inforcing - however there may now not be any cash, if you believe some people there may not be a club in the Spring!

I am sure other clubs have their problems but we don't half shoot ourselves in the foot sometimes!

We travel to the Walkers Stadium to take on an improving Leicester City side on Saturday afternoon. Never has a win been more vital - let's hope the lads are strong enough to grab a victory for everyone concerned.
