Christmas shopping would have been more exciting than this dour contest betwen two sides both with different reasons for the points. Cardiff fresh from the news that they were safe from possible closure needed to end a long run without a win, Leicester wanted to build upon recent improved results.
There were no goals and precious little to cheer the fans in a healthy 23,000 attendance. Neil Alexander was Cardiff City's hero with a couple of fine saves to deny the home side.
Full report and reaction to follow, but the bluebirds slip to sixth in the table and the long wait for a win continues.
They remain bottom of the current form table.
